I've been using these for over a year now and they have served me very well. You just have to understand their limitations- the main one being that you don't want to drop them on the floor. The other is that the max weight is 52.5 lbs. So yes, if you're very strong and you like going to failure, you might be a little disappointed. However, if you're an average person like me and just want to get in a decent home workout, these could be perfect for you.The adjustment mechanism is easy to use and the weight increments make a lot of sense. They start out with 2.5-lb increases with the lower weights and jump up to 5-lb increases at the higher end. You can do anything you would do with normal dumbbells- bench presses, shoulder presses, curls, triceps extensions, rows, flys, lunges, etc.The plates do move around a little bit, which can be scary at first. However, I've never had one fall out on me and over time you will develop trust in the equipment. I do feel like they aren't perfectly evenly weighted, meaning that you'll want the two red bar things aligned when you're doing your exercises. Maybe that's all in my head.In my mind, those things are a small price to pay for space and money you save with these. Here's my setup- I have a squat rack and associated bar/plates for heavy, going-to-failure type of workouts and then I have these in the corner for high-rep stuff or for when I'm not going to fail and don't feel like swapping out plates all the time. Yes, I know that's a weird, lazy thing to avoid when I'm trying to work out, but that's how the human mind works sometimes. These really make my home gym a lot more versatile and they take up almost no space.The price may seem high at first, but you just have to think about how much it would cost to buy all the dumbbells you would want. Then you might buy something like a 12.5-lb dumbbell not knowing if you'll ever actually use that one or not. Also, think about how much a monthly gym membership costs, plus the associated transportation. Not to mention the time wasted going back and forth to the gym. If you get these plus a good quality bench (don't go cheap on the bench), you're going to be able to stay in shape if you're motivated to do so.

Super Impressed and very happy! The Bellbar and dumbbell bar seem sturdy and it all converts very easily. Comes with more then enough weights and fits any standard weights. Love that is so compact and can save money and space. Better than buying 50 different weights. I plan to make a hard case for it and buy a kettle bell handle that can fit the same weights.

I love this set of dumbbells. However, I was a little hesitant to purchase due to some of the reviews. Some reviews were stating the dumbbells were difficult to put back into the stand. I did not find this to be true at all. It is pretty simple to put back in the stand without difficulty. I know people were also saying the price was too high. I disagree. The price was great. These are adjustable dumbbells that are made with great quality. I would not buy a product that was cheap because that informs me the product is made cheaply.My husband and I both use these dumbbells. As a military family who moves every 2-3 years, it is wonderful to not have to pack up an entire set of dumbbells and keep track of them during the move. My husband and I both have seen awesome results from these. When we change the weight on the dumbbells, it is a nice smooth transition. There is no harsh movement that you might have with other brands.The dumbbells do only go to 52.5 lbs. If you are looking for a set that is higher in weight, the ST1090 would be better for you. These are great for my husband and I right now. I am sure as my husband builds more muscle and becomes stronger, he will eventually need to upgrade to the ST1090 set.I am highly satisfied with this product. I recommend this to anyone who is a beginner to intermediate lifter.

My wife and I have been working out at home for the past 9 months—like everybody else—so I was looking for an adjustable set of dumbbells that we can add weight to as we continue to get stronger. I did a lot of research before buying these, but apparently not enough, because I am very disappointed.The product itself seems pretty sturdy, and has no noxious odor, unlike the reports in other reviews. And it arrived promptly, in good condition, and the box included everything that was promised. The problem is the size of these dumbbells is ridiculous, particularly the length of the bar. Please see my attached photo, comparing 30 pounds of weight to a single 25 pound dumbbell. I understand that the bar needs to be long enough to accommodate extra weight, but these behemoths are extremely unwieldy. It is almost impossible to perform any maneuvers—biceps curls, triceps extensions, etc.—without smacking myself in the thigh with every rep. Moreover, the beasts do not at all fit into my convenient dumbbell rack. Also, because of the length of the bar, changing the weight to alternately accommodate my wife and myself is very, VERY time-consuming.So—hours of research and nearly three-hundred bucks, and I'm left with a product with which I am very disappointed. Oh well, another casualty of the Pandemic.

Yellow is NOT my fav but i needed a set. Everyone else was going to take 2-3 MONTHS so i reluctantly ordered this one. Aside from the color i have no complaints. Great buy.

The media could not be loaded.  Since COVID-19 has shut down all of the gyms, I needed some way to work out at home，after shopping around on amamzon, i decide to have this for my home gym, and this dumbbell didn't let me down. This weight set is solid, the bellbar and dumbbell bar were super sturdy and everthing converts very easily .very good quality and the price is very good. I absolutely love it， exactly what I’m looking for. Highly recommend!

Everything is good. It’s all plastic except weights so I would go slow when threading in extra weights to prevent cross threading. It came in a timely manner and in an extremely small box considering how far it traveled to get to Canada. You can only use the dumbells or the barbell at the same time. Happy with purchase, even though the $220 I paid would have been near $100 before COVID happened and I was clearly gouged due to the high demand of workout equipment right now.All in all - thanks.

Dislikes:1) time consuming to switch out weights since it's a screw on clip vs one that just slides. Messes up the groove of the workout.2) the bar is a weird length. If you need a wider or even normal grip, you have to loosen the bar to make it wider. Which was worrisome at first because it didn't feel that sturdy when loosened. But it was very difficult to do proper chest presses, rows or high standing chest lifts with a narrow grip. My wrists kept hitting the weight plates.I wish I had ordered the heaviest set. I meant to, but chose the wrong one. And I don't see an option to buy only the weight plates...

Product is decent for the price point. The weights are great however, the plastic that encases the weights and the weight bar/dumbbell bar itself smells weird. Paint is chipping after a week of usage.

With gyms closed these are exactly what I needed. These arrived within 5 days of ordering (a day sooner than anticipated). I live in a studio apartment, so the compact size is great and can easily be stored away.It takes about 30 seconds to screw in the clips but they're really sturdy. You can just change the order of your sets so it's not throwing off your timing. The weights themselves are great and this added more variety to my home workouts, and I'm loving them so far. I would definitely recommend these! The price point is also really good considering how much gym equipment is going for right now.
