Best Outdoor living investment
Outstanding in every way, it is an amazing comfortable indoor/outdoor reclining chair. I did my research & read many reviews before ordering this chair and was hesitant to order due to what I read In some reviews but so glad I went with my gut & purchased because it was very easy to assemble & reclines in 3 positions easy & the firmness/Quality of the cushion is a bonus in my opinion! I don’t normally write reviews but this chair exceeded my expectations and I felt it was important to share the excellent quality of Babylons outdoor recliner. Just ordered another one! Without a doubt this is a Great recliner, best bang for the buck! Assembled it indoors 30* below today but I’ll Upload a new picture in our out door living space soon.

Love these recliners - very comfy, high end look
I really like these recliners. We just assembled them and began to use them so I’ll update the review as time goes on.1. Install was easy..... kind of. I didn’t receive page 2 of the instructions, and their YouTube videos were less than helpful. I spent about an hour figuring out how to assemble the back to the sides, but once I did, the rest was a breeze. That is the only improvement on installation that needs work.2. They’re very nice and sturdy. We had a person sit in them all weekend at about 325lbs and they held up great3. We’ve gotten a ton of positive compliments on them. We love the look. The cushions are very thick and very comfortable. The reclining mechanism is very smooth operations.Overall we’re very happy with them and have enjoyed them immensely so far!

Finally happy with my purchase
It was a rough start with this purchase, but using the discussion here on Amazon and input from the manufacturer, I am currently happy with this chair. As others have reported, some of the screws do not go in easily as others. There seems to have been a machine-made issue when cutting the threads in the holes. After input from a few commenters on my question here, I decided to go ahead and force the screws into their holes. After about a third of an inch, the screws began to turn more easily. After that relevation the assembly process went quickly and smoothly, despite the lousy directions. I am enjoying the chair With its three position seat-back and footrest. It took a little getting used to pushing back to make the foot rest rise, and the back recline. I now see what others were talking about, the chair is quite high, you cannot sit in an upright position with your feet on the ground and I am 5 foot 7 in. I absolutely love the depth that the back reclines, it goes further back than its competitors and makes for a nice napping position. The cushions are very comfortable, but beware the beige is basically white. Thanks to the other customers who replied to my inquiry.

Overall great recliner
Easy to assemble, quality materials, very comfortable and roomy seat. The only negative is that the fabric is fading. I have it placed in an area that gets direct sun for 4 hrs or more per day so it's not surprising. Fabric still looks good... just lighter than the side toward the chair. Worth the price and I'll be buying additional chairs.

Great, comfortable recliner
I purchased two of these recliners for our new lanai by our new in ground pool. Extremely comfortable and so far are nice and sturdy. It’s relatively easy to assemble. However, a few screws were difficult to screw in completely. I was afraid of stripPing the screws since I was using a cordless screwdriver, but I very patiently screwed the couple of problem screws by hand. I assembled them by myself, but a second pair of hands would have helped. Unfortunately my wife of 50 years aren’t a good team when it comes to this type of task. I viewed the assembly instructions on YouTube, very helpful. My wife now sits outside with me more often since the recliner is so comfortable

Single women, don’t be afraid of assembling this chair by yourself.
If you’re a single woman like me, don’t be daunted by this chair. As I’ve gotten used to doing many things and myself by myself, I was fairly confident I could manage the assembly of this item alone. It’s true that the instructions are a little vague, but after twenty years of dating men, it wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle. The box isn’t too heavy and I just dragged it through the front door like past boyfriends to the porch where I would assemble it. The trickiest part was attaching the seat and back of the chair to the armrests but I found that once it was in place, if I assumed modified wheelbarrow/doggy where I bent over the armrest, I could support myself with my torso while leaving my hands free to do the screwing. All in all, it took about 45 minutes from start to finish, which is pretty average if you want to ensure a pleasureable and successful outcome. It’s definitely rewarding to relax in a chair I put together myself. It does lay back a lot further than I realized; I was a little worried I might fall backward but I was fully supported by the sturdy design and plush cushion - two underrated qualities if you ask me. So if you’re considering buying this chair, especially if you’re a single woman, I say go for it. I’m pretty sure it won’t be the worst decision you’ve ever made.

Recliner
We purchased chair on 3/5/20 and the entire seat frame fell apart this month. No one in our household comes close to weight capacity. The front bar broke in half and all the side weldings failed. It’s too bad as chair was comfortable and looked nice.

Holding up well after 3 years, very comfortable, removable/washable covers
We've had two of these on our balcony for 3 years now and they are awesome:* They are very comfortable - both when not reclined and when reclined* The backs are nice and tall* You can remove the covers and wash them* They are sturdy* They are still in great shape - note we do keep them covered most of the time. The fabric has of course faded but I ordered a more muted color (Khaki) because it shows fading less. The reclining mechanism is just as smooth as when we got them
