LOHA Flexible Phone Tripod Adapter for Universal Smartphones including Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy

This awesome little 'doo-dad' that I picked up is perfect and for more than one reason as I have discovered. Ok so first off this is a mount system designed for most camera trip pod style mounts. It screws directly on to what ever mount that you use I highly recommend the following JOBY GorillaPod (Link Below), not paid by this company in anyway I just love mine.First use is the obvious, which is to do filming with your smart phone device. This mount holds on tight to nearly any size of phone you have. I use mine with an S8+ with a Pelican Case and this thing still has room to expand. Simply just adjust the screw on the mount to expand. I have walked around filming with this device and has not dropped my phone at all. Great steady shots with you phone.Second amazing use that I just discovered, watching videos and movies. I set this up on my GorillaPod and literally watch shows for hours. I use a nice little Bluetooth Speak (Check out Anker) and bam you have a great viewing set up, perfect for airports, bedtime, kids, etc. With the GorillaPod you literally mount your tripod to nearly anything you can find.None of my recommendations are paying me in anyway for the use of their products, just my recommendations.JOBY GorillaPod SLR Zoom. This LOHA cell phone tripod adaptor worked out perfectly for me, i already had a tripod adaptor on another tripod but i needed another one for my second tripod so i went with LOHA this time, i dont regret my decision at all, LOHA came out on top for me, seriously!The tripod adaptor is very sturdy and not too tight on the springy part of the adaptor at all, its just right, holds my Samsung Galaxy S7 perfect and tightly enough that it will not slip out of the mount. I would say this mount will be just fine for even the Larger Galaxy note series phones or even the Larger iphone 6/6s plus or the new 7 plus phones, even with a protective case on it will hold with no problems!I would highly recommend this tripod adaptor to my family and friends and will buy from LOHA again in the future!

This is a pretty nice mount. Works great. I wish there were some better levels on it to help with aligning the phone for making sure it is perpendicular to what you are shooting. I also wish it was designed to align the phone perpendicular to the mounting hole, but instead it is really flexible which adds value too. It just takes a lot of tweaking to get the phone set up right, but that would probably be the same for similar set ups. I am very happy to be able to easily mount my phone to a tripod now.

I had another brand of tripod adapter that said it would work with a Samsung Galaxy S 4, but it would barely fit - especially with a case on the phone. It eventually broke under the strain of taking the phone out and putting it back in. The LOHA tripod adapter, on the other hand, works fantastic. It's well built, can be used on even larger phones, is fully adjustable, easy enough that even my 10 year old son can easily remove and insert a S4 with a Otterbox Defender case, yet the build quality is very sturdy. I highly recommend this tripod adapter if you have an Android, or newer iPhone, and are looking to use your phone for recording or photos.

No instructions, so not sure what long screw in the back is for. While it holds my IPhone 5 securely in landscape, portrait is not possible. My fault for not doing my research. Not worth the hassle to return, but it will no doubt end end up in a drawer.

Poorly designed and poorly built. No directions and it broke w/in the 1st 10 minutes I was using it.

does not fit my moto x pure edition phone, says it fist all phones but i guess not.... not sure if it would work with out the case but the case i have is not something you want to be taking the phone in and out of... it opens up big enough to fit the phone in it but the screw is not long enough by the time the threads are twisted completely off of the screw and the little part you turn falls out it has not opened up enough to fit the phone inside.i can just unscrew it all the way till the part you turn goes off the threads and falls out, than i can put 3 heavy duty rubber bands around it and that holds the phone in place quite nicely so it will work but i must rig it to make it work with my phone.. once the phone is in there it takes me pulling on it with a descent amoutn of force to get the phone to pull out of it.. so i trust the rig job to work..looking past the part that it does not fit my phone well its a very nice item. it just needs to have a longer screw. if that screw would have been longer it would have worked just fine.. not sure if i got a bad one or if there all like that but you think the screw would be long enough for the device to be able to open as far as it can but i guess someone designed this poorly...

If you have a 6 Plus or Note, you need this tripod adapter but no tripod adapter that comes stock with your selfie stick is going to be adequate. This one has room to spare. The only thing I don't like about it is the spring loaded clamp part will stick open at full extention. I don't know if this is by design but it can be frustrating to get it to clamp down again. That said, this is a well designed product and sturdy enough for it's intended use. Good for mini tripod mounts and most selfie sticks.
