It is great! Even better when you know a few things...
It doesn't come with instructions, but most of what you need to know is right on the listing. Once switched on, it only works when the sensor sees light, and immediately quits when dark again. It does have 8mb of memory and acts like a flash drive when you plug it into the computer (using the included cable). After you delete the pre-installed sample song, you can put any amount of songs up to 8mb. COMPRESS YOUR FILES if you want to put on multiple songs! (You can do that by ripping them again to lower quality, or going online to sites that do it free with a quick upload, compression, then download.) The speaker is okay (better than the kind in musical greeting cards, but nothing fancy), and lower quality mp3 files will be sufficient. I put four songs on mine and it works great. I had to play around to figure out how to play the songs in a particular order-- You need to RENAME the entire file title to "1", "2", etc. if you want them to play in that order. Any other effort with using lead numbers, or multiple letters, or anything else doesn't work for this. Once I just made them "1" ,"2", "3", "4", my songs played in exactly that order. It will ALWAYS restart at #1 song after it goes dark and back to light. But it only plays through your song(s) one time and stops until you reset it (dark, then light again). The on/off switch is labeled, but the volume is not; it's just a tiny slider near the one battery on the opposite side of the panel from the on/off & micro usb port. All-in-all, this little thing is pretty nifty, does well considering its size, and worth the money. I got this one to put inside of a gift box and it will play when the gift is opened. It has adhesive on the back so it can be stuck easily inside. Except for fussing around with the song order thing, it took about one minute to delete their file and transfer mine. Very easy to use! Your PC will automatically install the driver, so there's little to do. Thumbs up!

Well made and fun to play with.
The quality of this little speaker is surprising. The default music on the device sounds really amazing and was probably optimized for that effect. It was easy for me to reprogram the audio file with my own. I bought three of these to play with. I reconnected the speaker output to an eight ohm bookshelf speaker in cabinet. This little guy was able to drive this speaker and make things much louder for my application. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Could not be happier
First review I’ve ever left, I think, but I had to. This is a fantastic product at a reasonable price. I keep coming back and buying more and more. I might be on number 8 now. It works flawlessly, the instructions are clear, and it comes with the cord to connect to the computer or recharge if need be. I could not be happier, and I will continue buying this seller’s version of this product.

THIS THING JUST ISN'T WORTH THE HEADACHE! Only buy it if you are fairly tech-savvy (i.e., enough to understand this review).
I bought this because this was the only reasonably-priced audio device of this type that was available for Prime delivery. I should have read more of the reviews, because it does not include any instructions whatsoever, it requires a specific USB cable to connect to a computer in order to load an audio file onto it (I originally thought it was something where you could push a button on the device and just record onto it), it does not include the power source (i.e., no battery), and it is ambiguously triggered (the descriptions don't make a lot of sense to me because they aren't written very well). Customers shouldn't have to rely on other customers' questions to get important product information-- The seller should either write the descriptions out better or should get someone else to write this information out for them.NOTE: I ended-up making this work by powering this with a portable power bank-- I got one at Wal-Mart that had a micro-USB cable included. It cost under $10 there, but for all of the trouble this put me through, and how bulky the final set-up ended-up being, I'd say you might be better off just buying a more expensive audio player with the power source and instructions already included. The other thing I found out was that there was a track that came with the device, which kept playing after my audio file would finish playing; to fix this, I had to plug it into a Windows PC (my Mac wouldn't work) to reformat the entire thing so that it would clear all the way to it's default settings. The only "pro" about this thing is that, when rigged-up correctly, other reviewers are accurate when they say that the speaker is loud and has good sound.
