Great for toddler’s bedroom
I really like this white noise machine for my toddler’s bedroom. It’s a compact, small sized machine that puts out a consistent steady fan sound. It’s easy to control for a “louder” or “quieter” setting simply by twisting it. I’ve been using it every day for over a year now, so I would say it’s an amazing quality machine given the price point. Ever since my baby was a newborn, she was comforted by the sound of a fan, but obviously I can’t run a fan overnight in the winter season or during most of spring, plus it would make her allergies worse. So the Yogasleep Dohm Uno slowly lulls her to sleep with its soft, comforting and CONSISTENT whirring fan noise. The biggest gripe I have with similar white noise machines is that they are not consistent, the soundloop is obvious, and a recorded fan noise just isn’t the same as having the actual thing. Also, this thing is boring appearance wise. I love that it doesn’t have fancy lights or anything at all that grabs a curious toddler’s attention. She ignores it 100%. No complicated settings or switches means that grandma likes it too when baby goes to spend the night. It’s as simple as turn it on to use, turn it off in the morning. And finally, it has improved her quality of sleep in my opinion. She’s been great about sleeping through the night since about 9 months old. Of course I know how lucky I am — a white noise machine won’t solve sleep issues. But it can definitely help, and in my case I think even if/when she has nighttime wake-ups, she puts herself back to sleep and since I leave this on overnight it’s easy for her to drift back off into dreamland. If anything ever happens or my Yogasleep just gives out, I will be repurchasing. I frequently debate purchasing a second one anyway, to have on hand just in case. 5 stars, completely recommend especially for those who like the sound of a fan to fall asleep to. But; for people who are looking for something “loud” to drown out something like construction noise, I’d probably look elsewhere. On its highest setting, this thing is probably about as loud as a regular fan on a medium setting. It is great for drowning out regular household noise (conversation at a normal volume, TV on a mid volume, somebody knocking at the door, toilet flushing, etc).

Great little gadget!
The media could not be loaded. I've never owned a white noise machine before, but I really think I'm going to like this little gadget. I'm used to sleeping with my tower fan on. In the summer, it keeps me cool, but I'm used to the noise, so I've been using it in fall/winter, too. But my room gets cold in the winter with the fan blowing, so I started looking into white noise machines.I like that this one is mechanical and is essentially just a fan (though it doesn't blow air). I looked at some with all the different noises, lights and programmable modes, but I really just wanted the fan noise.I LOVE that this one doesn't have any lights on it at all. No glowing blue power buttons or anything like that, because I like sleeping in total darkness. I used it for the first time last night, and it works great. It doesn't sound exactly like the tower fan that I'm used to, but the sound is close enough.I put it right beside my bed on the lower shelf of my bedside table, so since it was so close, I turned it to the lowest setting, which is just a fan-like hum. It can be made much louder just by opening the little vents, and if I ever move it across the room, I'll probably turn it up a bit. It is small enough that it could easily travel with you to a hotel room, and I'll probably do that when I travel.I'm including a video so you can hear what it sounds like on the lowest setting.

Consistent!
This thing is amazing! It sounds better than a fan. However, it can overpower a small room. We have ours set on the lowest setting, but a higher setting could do a much larger room.

Better than others I’ve had.
I bought this because I had this brand several years ago. It lasted for years. I’ve had several machines since that of different brands. None were the good quality that this brand is. I do think that the sound range isn’t quite as good as the machine I had before, from your company. However, overall I’m satisfied with it. And, glad I was able to find your product again.

Loud Hum. Inferior compared to the Dohm Classic model
This Dohm Uno white noise machine is an inferior product compared to the Dohm Classic noise machine.I have owned 3 Dohm Classic noise machines. They are very effective at creating a natural white noise sound, which allows me to sleep. They are effective and last for years. They have now introduced the Uno model. The Uno is less expensive and a bit smaller, so I ordered it to use for travel.Comparisons:Classic- 2 speeds for maximum sound variations.Uno- 1 speed.Classic: The body and the top can be turned to allow for maximum control of the volume and tone.Uno: Only the body can be turned to adjust sound.I can live with the reduced options of the Uno for travel use.The problem with the Uno is the hum that is generated when the fan is turned on. When I set the Uno on my night stand, the Uno acoustically couples with the night stand and makes the hum louder and not conducive to sleep. I laid a sock under the unit to reduce the hum sound transmitted to the nightstand. The sock allowed me to get to sleep. I also noticed that the base of the Uno was quite warm. The next day, I checked the base of the Uno. It had 4 silicone pads that should reduce vibrations, but were completely ineffective. I tried sticking 4 felt pads onto the silicone pads to reduce the hum transfer from the Uno to my night stand. The felt pads did not help.I believe the low frequency hum is being generated by the fan motor in the Uno. The hum is unacceptable for a product that is sold as a sleep aid.I will be exchanging this Uno for a new one. I’m hoping it was just a faulty motor. If the new one has the same hum, I will go back to purchasing the better optioned and hum-free Classic model.
