UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLY BAD!!! DO *NOT* BUY THIS BOOK!!
I would give it a '0' if I could! Why is this piece of garbage still on Amazon? Why hasn’t Amazon verfied it?! I don’t think this “doctor” exists!I must INSIST on a refund! And I got it!This book is the biggest B.S. I've EVER seen! I HIGHLY DOUBT the 'author's' command of the English language, for starters! The basic grammar, word usage & sentence structure were MISSING! It was repetitive AND redundant! If I read "take/taken" incorrectly ONE MORE TIME, I was going to SCREAM! ("Take" a meal; a rest; an exercise...UGH!) WHY is there NO 'period' after "Dr?" Me thinks its all a SHAM!! There were NO credentials - we all KNOW how doctors LOVE to tout them! A "chapter" (I use that word LOOSELY) averaged about 2.5 pages, in LARGE print, in a SMALL book! I read the "33" pages in well UNDER a half hour! And WHO designated it a "Best Seller?!?!"Now, insult to injury, there was NO NEW information! In fact, some of what this person (whomever s/he/they might be) is WRONG!! Intermittent fasting is GOOD FOR YOU!! NOT eating every 2 hours! Who DOESN'T know to cut out carbs & caffeine?!I am SHOCKED at the number of five-star reviews! SOoooo I looked at the profiles of people who gave them...lo & behold, MANY of them gave LOTS (if not ALL) five-star reviews to other books/media...again, me thinks there are untrue things going on here. Then my hubby (a techie) told me about online 'reputation defenders' & such...how does Amazon defend against people being paid to write bogus reviews???Lastly, as someone who DOES have a doctorate (in Clinical Psychology), it is TERRIFYING that this book claimed to cure people's depression by simply stopping the negative thoughts &/or AVOIDING STRESS...ARE. YOU. FREAKING. KIDDING. ME?! Dude: WHAT CAVE did you climb out of?!

Don't wait until it's too late...
I worked a software project for a year and a half, during which I slept under my desk, drank 7-8 cups of coffee a day, ate whatever sugar-ladened and deep fried crap they had in the vending machines and gained 35 pounds - all while sleeping 5-6 hours a night. I never had enough energy. Even nine months after the project ended, I was struggling to get back to normal. Adrenal fatigue is something I knew little about. But after reading this book, I suspect I might have taxed my adrenal glands overtime. The book provides some guidance on how to restore your adrenal glands if you subjected them to abuse over the years. I appreciate that the author mentions the importance of sleep. This is one of those things that I had to learn the hard way.

Basic information
Perhaps I knew more than I realized, but this Adrenal Fatigue was extremely basic in my opinion. I liked that a doctor wrote it; however, anyone can find out what is contained within the book by going to a few easy-to-find Web sites. I buy books like this to gain information that cannot be found with a few clicks. On a positive note, the contents are very readable and the author does know this condition.

This book is well organized and well written. I came away with a thorough understanding of the important facets of Adrenal Fatigue. In fact, the book has helped me better deal with my own issues and helped me make decisions on how I should approach the problem. In a short book the author has presented very helpful and detailed information that should help many concerned with the subject of Adrenal Fatigue.

Easy read
Easy read, but I am not for sure if it was what I was looking for. However the book does seem to have helpful suggestions.

A concise book about adrenal fatigue
Although I am not in favour of self help where medicationa and diagnosis are concerned, I think it is alright to consult concise and good books like the current one to find out more about a disease. I had never heard of adrenal glands, let alone what their function is. I have come to realize that they are rather important organs since they regulate much of the hormones in a body. The author gave a very good overview of the symptoms and how to cure.

Badly and sketchily written.
I suppose as a quick read and introduction to the topic this might have some merit but I hated this book. It was badly written and full of mistakes which made it hard to even understand at times. It honestly felt like it had been translated by a computer, the grammar was so clunky. It also mixed up words like 'root' and 'route', which did confuse, but even worse was mixing up 'adrenal' and 'kidney', which for me was downright discombobulating. Also, it would give a short list of maybe a couple of changes you could make, or it gave you the first few questions of a checklist you should go through to see if you have adrenal fatigue. Altogether then it was far too sketchy and clumsily written to be of any serious use, and felt like it might have been a hastily adapted essay originally written by a student nutritionist. If you're serious, look elsewhere.

Poorly edited
I wondered whether the author was writing in a second language as the syntax, grammar and spelling were all quite odd. I could see the author was sincere in his belief that what he was advising was accurate but it lost much of the message due to the disorganised way in which it was written. Having said that, I shall attempt to follow some of the guidance given.
