ECOSUSI Women's Briefcase Vegan Leather Laptop Bag for Work Shoulder Computer Satchel Bag with Detachable Bow

My wife is an attorney and needed a bag that is as durable and useful as the "standard issue" black canvas shoulder bag that her firm gives everyone -- she used that for a while, but preferred to have an equivalently functional bag that also had some style/flair. I did a *ton* of research to find her the perfect one and I looked not only at around 50 different bags on Amazon but also at least 100 more on Etsy because I wanted to buy her a *nice* bag and so I thought a handmade leather bag that cost a few hundred bucks would be a much nicer present for her than a mass produced bag that cost only $60. But at the end of the day, I kept coming back to this bag, because it is perfect -- big enough to haul her computer, a couple binders and her personal effects...and it is also stylish and feminine while still being "businesslike" so she can bring it to the firm without it standing out. And a key feature is that the bow comes off easily so she can take the bag to court when she needs to without worrying that it might look "too girly". It is also extremely well constructed and sturdy -- some of the Etsy bags that looked as nice as this one also looked like they were not nearly as durable, and that once my wife loaded her 30+ lbs of binders et al into them that they might fall apart! I guess it's a pretty high compliment for this manufacturer that the only thing that was keeping me from buying this bag from the outset was that it wasn't expensive enough! But frankly, now that my wife has been using it for a week -- and loves it! -- I would have gladly paid three times as much for this bag, because it is definitely worth it!

I have never consistently received so many complements on anything as I do this bag. Almost daily someone comments on how much they like it. Last fall I was looking for a new bag and did a lot of searching. I found a bag that was very similar to this, but several times the cost. I came across this bag and the excellent reviews. I was honestly surprised at the quality when I received it. I have had it for almost 6 months of daily use and it is absolutely perfect. The padding is better than any other bag that I have owned and the structure is perfect for my needs. I can comfortably carry my laptop, charging cable, a couple of folders, binders, pens, and a number of other things. I often find myself carrying just this bag, throwing my phone and keys in and heading out to the office or a conference. I joked that I need to buy more as backups, but I think I actually will. I currently have the light brown and am definitely opting to purchase it again for future use as well as a couple of other colors. If you are looking for a feminine, but professional looking bag, this is it. It is absolutely the best value for the money!

Walk in the interview, meeting, workplace or down the street, confident that your briefcase is making a statement! Talk about EXTREMELY classy, looks high gloss gorgeous, so it "pops"! The details of this "perfect" bow and dainty, yet bold cutouts are eye catching and not the norm which creates a unique appearance in the world of briefcases that makes you feel like, "I'm ready" to walk in the room and turn a head, or two! I initially selected two for college grads age 21 and 22. One was my daughter so I unwrapped hers and tested out the functionality and comfort with my Dell Inspirion, cell, portfolio, lip gloss, credit card size wallet, keys, and pens in the sections/holders and....everything fit! It was without looking stuffed from the outer, and easily accessible upon need. Right then decided that I needed three colors all for myself! Lastly, but actually it's a "first" impression- the packaging of this product. My goodness it was for me, the most detailed packing of "pride" that I've seen. I felt as if I was unwrapping a delicate piece of china- their packing set the tone for "elegance" is my point- this company is not sidestepping in any way. I love this vegan briefcase so much that I am going to quickly buy more for gifts to young women that I know won't be graduating from college for years down the road, but I want to have this as a "sure thing". Next up is my own daughter #2- she's a Jr. & wants one now, so I'll get hers now- lol. I suggest you purchase this if you like nice items & compliments!

The bag is beautiful and the quality appears to be good. I worry a little about durability as there is no protection for the base of the bag which ends up sitting on the floor when I'm at work. However, the reason I've docked a star is for the functionality of the design. It has three flaws that don't make it unusable, but could have been easily fixed for a superior product. 1. While the laptop area is padded on the front and back, they failed to add padding on the bottom, which means if you put your bag down, your computer has little to no protection between it and the floor. 2. I use very average sized pens (one pictured here), but when you put them in the pen pocket, they sink down far below the top of the pocket making it extremely hard to get them out as the width of the pocket is very small and hard to reach your finger in. The lip on the edge of the pocket is too thick to easily hook the pen's clip, which would prevent them from sinking down so far. 3. You can see from the photos that they have put a zipper with a metal pull inside the laptop area. The computer I use this bag for is an aluminum body MacBook. Every time I take the computer in or out, I hear the metal zipper pull scratching against my computer. I don't think it has made any clear scratches yet, but I've been extra careful taking it in and out. I'll probably put some tape or other protector over the zipper to prevent this, but it would have been nice if the protected laptop area protected all of your laptop. I probably wouldn't buy this bag again, but it's not dysfunctional enough to deal with the hassle of a return. I also love the way it looks and get compliments all the time, which is why I'm still giving it 4 stars.

It is very beautiful!! We got this for our daughter as part of her graduation gift for graduating from law school. It's very spacious and seems like it would last a long time. The bag also has an adjustable strap so you can choose to wear it or go without it. It can go wherever you go and it's not heavy when you put your things inside. Our daughter loves this stylish bag and gets many compliments for it!

This computer bag is absolutely gorgeous. The design is so cute. I love that it just looks like a purse. It’s totally my style. The red leather is so unique and beautiful! I wasn’t planning on getting anything on the fancy side for a laptop bag, but when I came across this one I fell in love and couldn’t resist. The bag is fantastic quality. It feels and looks expensive. I haven’t used it yet, so I’m not sure about the durability, but it seems to be made very well. I reached out to the company because I forgot to add the 4 year protection plan that is offered and they responded quickly and directed me to amazon support since the item had already shipped and I couldn’t purchase it separately. I ended up having to repurchase the bag WITH the protection plan and return the first purchase after I received it. Actually, this turned out to be really awesome in the long run because when I took the bag to Kohl’s to be packaged and shipped, which they do for free, Kohl’s gave me coupon for 25% off any single transaction! I ended up using it that day on a pair of Vans. So really, I kind of got money back out of that return. Just so cool all the way around. I’m really excited about this bag. I think it will just make me feel good using it. It’s beautiful.

Love love love this computer bag! It arrived a day early, which was nice, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see the apparent quality! It is made of thick and sturdy leather, yet it is so soft and polished. Inside is roomy, with a couple of pockets and ample storage. The padded computer slot fit my 12" iPad with room to spare. I've already gotten a bunch of compliments on it, and I've only used it once! My only wishes are that it could use one more big pocket inside, and that I could have chosen another shade of brown that was featured, but sold out. However; it is so cute, I can overlook those minor issues. You can not go wrong with this bag, especially for the price! I highly recommend it!

The bag is rigid with a smooth feel to touch. The handle and strap are thick. So it'll give you confidence the items inside are secure. The inner pockets are thin and don't inspire confidence for some of my heavier items long term. Importantly, It does fit the advertised size of laptop securely. If you are traveling for business this is not the bag for you. It will not hold a portfolio of documents, laptop, iPad, two phones, and then leave you with some room for a wallet and extras. But I'm an executive assistant and don't need all THAT much room. I planned to keep it to force me to minimalize my work life (man, do I need that). However... The magnetic closure came off in 2 days. I will be returning this item.
