Best thing that works with bug zapper IMO for mosquitoes. Your bug zapper light will be fully covered in one nights. Lasts 1/2 a summer IMO. Only thing I hate is the high price but only product that works.

You're probably tired of your bug zapper only attracting moths and other light attractant bugs, and you've come to this listing because you learned that a big zapper requires octenol cartridges in order to attract mosquitos. I wish bug zappers didn't have to use these cartridges because they are very expensive, but I can tell you that the Mosquito Magnet brand does work. I've tried other brands with little to no luck. I've also tried hanging sugar water near the zapper and it doesn't help either. So, now that you know you need these cartridges, let me tell you the good and the bad. PROS: 1. Exact replacement for flowtron BK-80D Electronic Insect Killer (Bug Zapper) 2. Packaging will keep cartridges fresh when not in use. 3. Octenol smells very strong with just one cartridge. CONS: 1. Octenol smell fades after a little over a week and it loses its potency. To sum up this review, the octenol does work for mosquitos and is very strong initially. It becomes very weak after about 7 days even tho it is suppose to last for one month. I will most likely continue to buy more of these because my options for mosquito elimination are limited and I cannot stand to get bit since I end up with bite welps the size of quarters. It's just one of those things that, I'll buy but I'm not necessarily happy about it. It is a 4 star product. I have also included pictures and a video with this review.

Replace these every month and continue to attract the nasty insects

Using this along with the mosquito magnet is working quite well. Being in and around the woods is kept my family and I hiding inside. keeping these little blood suckers in the prison they belong. Since we can’t be out when their on the hunt, but not anymore, if your tired of staying inside because of the mosquitoes you really need to buy these. Save the outdoors.

We use this product in a bug lamp. The brand name octenol packet comes with a small adhesive strip so that it will adhere to the back surface of the poison packet and the compartment it site in on the underside of the lamp. We bought this product because it was a little less expensive. This product doesn't come with an adhesive strip so you're on your own to figure out how to keep it from falling out of the compartment on the bottom on the hanging lamp. To save you some time, two sided tape didn't work.

Very dissatisfied with the product. More moths and beetles with very few mosquitos.
