MELTZER'S Peppermint Puremints, 1.76 OZ

Occasionally when eating I get an esophagus spasm and cannot swallow. It is very painful. Nothing was found during an endoscopy. I researched possible fixes and sucking on a peppermint lozenge was recommended. I have only tried this once to ease a spasm but it worked well. I only had to suck on in briefly to continue eating, rather than suffering for 10+ minutes.

I was looking for a mint made with peppermint oil to take after food for breath and to act as an inexpensive digestive aid. These were pretty good for both. Flavor was decent and the extra ingredients help as a digestive aid. Although they come out more expensive to buy in quantity than some of the others which ultimately led to my decision. Still pretty good overall.

I purchased this product b/c of having occasional GERD episodes. Took a sample when they arrived just to taste one & see if I would like them even though I was not having an actual GERD episode. Since my GERD episodes are not very frequent, I have not yet had a good chance to experience the effectiveness of the the mints during a true GERD episode. But I was happy w/ Swanson, the mints, & the speedy delivery. No complaints here. Amazon did a great job too. Lots of mints in the container.

Acid reflux, GERD, is not good. Read online that peppermint might help and this seems to work. It's not a cure, it won't make it all go away, but it does seem to help when that acid starts annoying. They don't taste bad either. I only use them when GERD attacks.

The peppermints are well packaged in each tin. When chewed, the flavor bursts forth with pure peppermint enjoyment.

I am impressed how well these settle my stomach. Not my go to mint for flavor, but they have a home in my work bag now. Other coworkers have learned about them and stop by when they have a stomach ache too.

Not as sugary as Altoids (I like Altoids too).But the the other ingredients and maybe the type of peppermint.A very nice treat.
