I've used the butterfly buckle/bands for my watches for about a decade now and I can't imagine going back to the old standard buckle style. These are very comfortable/stylish. and add another layer of security to one losing one's watch to someone who is skilled at slight of hand. I'm extremely picky about my watches and bands. Funny how many compliments one can get on a nice watch with an inexpensive band like this. I still keep my factory bands, but all of my watches sport a butterfly buckle/band, even my smart watch.. which I have a love hate relationship with. Once you try one out, you'll be hooked.

The watch band is good quality at a fair price and even includes the tool to make it easy to change or put in new. Would highly recommend it.

One of the attractions of the watch band was the QR pins that would enable me to change band color to match my belt and shoes. With the pins being too short, I had to switch to a standard pin and I’ve lost the ability to change easily. So far the leather seems nice enough and the clasp is ok (not as nice as the one that came with the watch but I’m not paying $200 for a replacement OEM band).

I was actually looking for a dark brown alligator pattern strap with quick release pins and standard buckle in rose gold, but nobody seems to offer it. So I ended up getting the Moran strap and bought the buckle separately.Unfortunately, because this Moran strap was designed for a butterfly clasp, there was no slit for the buckle tongue/prong in the pin loop at the end of the strap. I had to Xacto-knifed a little slit myself. I was able to make a pretty clean cut and didn't affect the integrity of the stitching that forms the loop for the pin.The strap came pretty stiff, but after a few wears, it's starting to break-in nicely. It's well padded, and I think it's going feel great once it's broken in like a well-used baseball mitt.

Nice band ff you dont have to change out the pins. The quick release pins will not fit through the band without tearing it. Appears to be good quality but I will never know how long the band will last because I cant use it due to tearing.
