It was great to find a way to repair my kayak.

These are much thicker plastic than the original hooks that are on my Malibu X-13 kayak (a relic, I know). It remains to be seen whether or not they are stronger. Be careful when removing broken hooks and other hardware with metal fasteners. If you grind them off with angle grinder, the heat could melt the kayak plastic. short bursts and allowing the metal to cool and you should be fine.

Worked perfectly for upgrading the seat in my Pelican Strike 100 NXT. I used 4 of these hooks and 2 pad eyes to install the seat on top of the original seat. Much more comfortable now.
