The last wine opener you will need.
I have been using many wine openers for many years. From very cheap ones found on a pocket knife to CO2 openers. This one is excellent so far. It is easy to use and easy to clean. I will update this review in 6 months to see how it holds up. I know that there are a lot of knockoff Rabbit Corkscrew wine openers. So beware.I was a little concerned from some of the bad reviews, but most of them is due to user errors or they bought a knock-off.It did come with a replacement corkscrew attachment. That will help if you break the original screw. One last note, I still own an original Rabbit Corkscrew made by a different company. The design is totally different and the material it was made from broke down. It is very sticky plastic and no longer usable.

Good product, takes some practice to operate well!
I thought something was wrong the first time, as the black/grey thing moved up with the cork. It only needs to happen once that things could go wrong, once you understand the operation. I might have missed the instructions, but the way to operate is: 1. make sure the black/grey element is all the way down when you begin. 2. clamp the bottle and pull the handle slowly, to insert the thread into the cork. 3. Push the handle to remove the cork. 4. Remove the device and cork from the bottle. 5. Pull the handle to put the cork back down and push the black/grey element all the way down (you can feel an extra drop if you apply enough pressure). 6. Clamp the cork with the two "bottle neck clampers" and push the handle up to remove the cork from the device. If you mess up the 5th step (not pushing down the handle enough), you end-up with the black/grey element not being in the most downward position again and the next attempt to open a bottle might fail... If you operate carefully like this, it works.

Opens wine bottles with little effort
I've been opening wine bottles with a broken corkscrew and adjustable pliers since March. My wife finally got tired of the questionable way I had to open bottles for her and decided to get herself a bottle opener. This one looks good and opens bottles. She was able to open the first bottle with only a little difficulty - "this handle is uncomfortable" she reported at the time, "but the bottle opened. So that's something."If you're looking for a way to open bottles that doesn't involve a toolbox and broken metal, this is definitely a good one to get. Plus is looks like a rabbit, and that's fun.

Solid built and operates fluidly.
I've had another brand wine opener of this design and it was poorly built, as a matter of fact, I replaced it because the handles broke off. The original was cheaply made, mostly plastic and the gears did not mesh good, making it get stuck sometimes. This wine opener is solidly built, out of metal, and the gears fit very well so it rotates easily. I'm happy with it and we drink a lot of wine, so it gets heavy use.

It’s broken!
This is the best and easiest to use wine opener I have ever had. Or so I thought! After only 5 months, it is broken and will no longer pull out the cork. I have opened one bottle of wine per day and used it according to the instructions. I found a small piece of black plastic in the box which has probably broken off from some place but I cannot identify where.

10 out of 10 Would Definitely Recommend
Best tool in my kitchen drawer! A girls got to have her wine. I’ve had another wine opener that was similar to this, but wayyyy more difficult to use. I’ve also had the electric wine opener, which died after a month (not worth it). This wine opener was so easy to use, the cork came out so easily in seconds. I was surprised it came with wine stoppers and replacement parts in case something should go wrong, which is such a nice touch. I’ve been using this regularly (that’s my business 🙃) since February with no issues. Totally worth the price! It was delivered literally the next day which doesn’t really happen with other products even though I’m a prime member 😑. You need this!

works OK but difficult to handle
I bought this for my wife so she could more easily open our wines. I thought I would try it out first to show her how to use it, and quickly discovered that I needed to devote both hands to operating the opener and could not hold or steady the bottle. One hand needs to hold the handles closed on the bottle neck, and the other hand needs to operate the lever that lowers and then raises the lever. I did not feel good about letting go of the bottle while opening, and decided at that point I would rather open our wines with a traditional corkscrew than to risk spilling a bottle on myself or dropping the bottle on the floor. The process may save a bit of time, but with the prospect of losing a good bottle, I'll spend the extra few seconds and be confident to be "old fashioned". Sending it back.

Does the job well for the price
As a wine opener, it works very well. The accessories it comes with are great too. Such as the plastic remover, the spout and plug. It even comes with an extra cork screw. My only concern is that the product and accessories feels a bit flimsy. Which makes me wonder how long it will last.In conclusion, i really liked it. The price is great. The last and most important test now is the test of time. Ive used it a few times over a month, so far so good.
