The entire product is rendered useless when there are no replacement filters available for purchase on Amazon or the the manufacturer’s website. Very disappointed.I purchased TWO of these aiper kj200 purifier units (one for my house, one for my parents’ house) in early November along with a replacement filter for myself. On January 15, I decided to change the filter (the light wasn’t flashing yet, but I had recently done some drywall patching so it got pretty dusty). After I replaced the filter with a brand new one, the “replace filter” light came on within a week. Now I cannot find replacement filters anywhere. Frustrating because I also purchased one of these for my parents.With no other options, I tried washing the filter (it says not to, but I saw that someone else’s review said they do wash theirs with no problems) and the filter completely fell apart.Currently searching for filters of the same size from a different manufacturer but no luck.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Or really any off-brand air purifier. Why? Because after less than a year the manufacturer will stop caring about the product and not make filters that fit the product any more. I messaged Amazon, who couldn't find a replacement filter for it anywhere on their website and then directed me to contact the manufacturer, Aiper Smart. I emailed them two weeks ago and still haven't gotten a response on just where I could possibly buy replacement filters. Without new filters this item is completely useless! Unless you want to be stuck with an overpriced, awkwardly large, very weak fan in 6 months, DON'T BUY THIS.

The media could not be loaded.  We have an extremely dusty house - you can literally see the dust fall - and a little dog that sheds all year long, and 2 of us in the household have very bad seasonal allergies. On the advice of our family practitioner, we bought this air purifier for our family room. It was very simple to install and use; simply unpack and plug it in. It has good size push button controls that are easy to use with 3 different settings. The low setting is good for night time; its so low that you totally can't tell it is on. There is a middle setting and also a high speed that I'm sure would have been very useful when we found mold in our house several years ago after hurricane Harvey. We have been running it on the middle setting and it is extremely quiet - our ceiling fans make more noise than this does. There is a timer function of 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours which I use if I'm going out but for the most part we just turn it on and let it run. It comes with a top quality filter that is already in place, but you do need to open the unit and remove the plastic wrap off of it. It is a very durable filter with charcoal as part of the component and has little ribbon pull tabs securely in place to ease removal. Its nice and compact - I'm 5'7" and it is about knee height for me and perfect for a family room or large bedroom. We have noticed already that the allergy sufferers are breathing easier and we are not having to dust as much! We have decided we are going to get another one for the upstairs. Highly recommend.

The machine itself is amazing. I can really tell the difference in my high-ceiling master bedroom. BUT I spent $150 less than 6 months ago and literally cannot find replacement filters anywhere. Check to see if they’re available before you buy!!!

Would give it zero stars if I could. Product is only good until the filter needs to be changes! Cannot find replacement filters anywhere which makes this a piece of plastic junk! Buy the Winix Plasma wave instead!!!

So, I needed something to assist dealing with wildfire smoke coming to Nevada from California. I have two large German Shepherds who are going through their dander and shed season. I have a housemate that smokes. I'm in a "heavily polluted" environment which dictates that I run this product at maximum when I use it. I needed something fast for the overnight hours in my room when the house has to be closed up. I have a bedroom that's about 22 sq. meters which means this product should circulate the air within 15-20 minutes filtering out dust particles, fur, any smoke fumes and dander that's free floating. Does it do that on the highest setting? Not exactly; although, I do notice that after running it overnight the entire house will be much cleaner of dust particulates if everything is sealed up with no doors or windows open. The smoke odor is minimal. The fur, dust and dander that free float is minimal. Do I consider this a good product? Yes, I actually do in comparison to a lot of other HEPA filtration systems I've had in the past including the other one from Sharper Image that's lasted with careful cleaning over the years. That's how I know this product is working because the same HEPA smelling air comes out of this product as well. My only issue is that filters are not available on Amazon it seems. I am not sure where I would get them and may just have to vacuum mine out every month or so until they are available. Food for thought. Let it do its job and minimize the indoor air pollution for you. I consider this a "Good 4 Star Buy."

I always do my workouts in the master bedroom and to be honest, a little TMI here, the bedroom stinks after I finished my workout. My husband complains so much that we decided to get an air purifier. Been searching for awhile and came across this which has good reviews. Without hesitation, I purchased this and I cannot tell you enough about this product!After my workout, I turned it on and leave the room, cam back in in 5 mins and the smell is all GONE!! Even my husband was amazed by how fast the smell disappeared. Since then, I have even used it in my kitchen. After every meal I cooked, I leave it on to freshen the environment. Really a great product. No regrets buying it.
