Accusize Industrial Tools 6 inch Professional Master Precision Level in Fitted Box, Accuracy 0.0002''/10'', S908-C606

According to me, I was going to level my 8’ Billiard with a regular leveler, hahaha! Luckily, I was able to find this Accusize 6” precision leveler at a reasonable price. The unit is heavy and looks well built. The wood box is nice but fragile (it uses 1/32” wood), but I reinforced the bottom with 3M orange masking tape on the outside, and gussets of wood glue on the inside. And the same for the lid, but with clear tape. The three-slate billiard was leveled nicely using the Accusize tool. The unit is very sensitive, and it will detect a 1/4 turn on a slate bolt, it is exactly what is needed for the job.

Once you calibrate, it gets the job done. Cant find any obvious issues with it.

Weighs 6+ pounds, enough to break the wood box during shipping. I glued the box back together. Super sensitive, bubble nearly always shows off scale so difficult for practical use. The bubble assembly is buried in the cast frame, so reasonable to handle without messing up the adjustment, a very good feature.

Acabo de recibir y abrir el paquete, me encuentro con su embalaje-empaque dañado en su totalidad. procederemos a la revisión del equipo en cuestión para ver si realmente funciona o de lo contrario regresaremos el equipo a proveedor. por el momento no podre dar una mejor calificación hasta que no pruebe el equipo. espero tomen en cuenta la calidad del empaque ya que al parecer es demasiado frágil para contener un equipo de medicion, de acero que es muy pesado para este material de empaque.

I’m a tech who installs and repairs mills and lathes, and ordered 2 of these. First off, like most of the other negative comments here, the wooden boxes they came in were both basically destroyed. However, they were delivered by UPS, so knowing what Brown does to many other packages and tools I’ve sent with their company, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was their doing. As for the levels, one of them repeats (for the most part), and the other does not hold calibration whatsoever. Pretty unimpressed, but you get what you pay for, I suppose. My coworker also ordered 2 levels from the same company, and got one good one and one bad one. I would not recommend these to anyone.
