No more hair removal, hello lightening!
As a woman with dark hair, I have a lot of hair on my face. I've tried various things: dermaplaning, Nair, waxing, threading. They all leave my skin either irritated, red, or just generally feeling gross. I was hesitant because I thought "how much of a difference could simple bleach make?" The answer: A BIG ONE! I mixed the amounts, spread it onto the facial areas I wanted to alter, and left it for about five minutes. Wiped it off and found no irritation or discomfort, no foul smell from the chemicals, and most of all: the hair was lightened to a natural shade! It doesn't feel sticky or uncomfortable the way Nair leaves my skin, the hair is just lightened to a less noticeable shade. I also applied some to my brows to lighten them a fraction (only left it a minute or so) and the general outcome is that my overall appearance is softer now. I'm so happy I tried this!

Love it
As someone who has tried various at-home bleaching products, I was intrigued by the promise of "extra strength." The packaging is straightforward, containing a cream, an activator powder, a mixing tray, and a spatula. The instructions are clear and easy to mix. The mixture has a noticeable but not overpowering scent. Applying the bleach was kinda tricky at first because once you cover a spot you can’t fix it no more. I primarily used this product for facial hair. I left the bleach on for the recommended 8-10 minutes but found it didn’t work since my hair is really dark so I left it for an extra 5 mins. The product was effective. After rinsing, the hair was lightened to a pale blonde, almost disappearing against my skin tone. It worked exactly as advertised, successfully bleaching even the thicker hairs. However, I did notice a slight tingling sensation during the process, which is to be expected with a product of this nature. My skin was a little red immediately after, but this subsided within an hour. Value & Conclusion: For its price, the Sally Hansen Extra Strength Creme Bleach offers excellent value. A single box provides multiple applications, making it a very cost-effective solution for managing unwanted hair. It delivers on its promise of fast, effective bleaching. While the "extra strength" formula might be a bit intense for very sensitive skin, the instructions advise doing a patch test, which is a crucial step to avoid any severe irritation. Overall, it's a reliable and efficient product that I would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and quick solution for bleaching body or facial hair.

Good product but container needs improvement
I've been using facial bleach for the hairs on my upper lip for years instead of waxing, and have gone through various brands and forms. I generally do prefer the cream bleaches because they're less messy and faster to use (the ones that come with the powder take time to dissolve), so I was really excited that Sally Hansen came out with an all cream version because they're the brand that's easiest to find locally or online. The product works great! As long as it's mixed in about even proportions, my sensitive skin doesn't have any issues when the product is on for the recommended time. The only issue I have after using this product for the past couple of months is that the tip of the bottle for one of the creams has twisted off inside the cap. So now I'm storing the bottle with the cap side up so that it doesn't spill out and hopefully it doesn't dry up before I get to use what's left in the bottle.

Beginner Kit, Salon Results!!!!
This body hair bleach is a great foundational product for eyebrow lightening. It’s easy to use for beginners but can also be enhanced with some advanced knowledge. I have dark brown 3B/3C textured hair that I highlight. In an attempt to soften my facial features I decided to use this bleach to lighten my eyebrows for better flow with my hair. I left this product on for 7 minutes and achieved three shades of even lift. Ultimately I thought the ends of my brows were too light. I used blue shampoo and a blue hair toner to bring down my brows one level. The toner and shampoo are the products I use to maintain my highlights. If you decide to tone your brows down a level keep in mind over time face wash will wash the toner out of your brows, so be sure to periodically reapply toner to maintain results. My application was as follows: 1: Cleanse eyebrows. 2: Mix product 1:1 ratio. 3: Apply product to hair with spatula, then use a disposable eyelash spoolie to brush product through. 4: Cover with cling film to promote even lightening ( the cling film helps the bleach heat evenly which makes the color lift more consistent). 5: Leave on for desired time (I could generally see the hair color without doing a patch check but you can if you want too). 6: Rinse product out with warm water and wash with a clarifying soap or shampoo (the warm water ensures all product is washed from the follicle of the hair shaft and allows the cleansing shampoo to penetrate). 7: Rinse clarifying product with cool water and then process as desired (cool water will seal the follicle you can also finish with hair oil to soften and nourish post processing) Optional Steps 8: Work blue shampoo into the brows and let sit for 5 minutes. 9: Use cool water to wash shampoo out. 10: Spray toner into two drops of hair oil (I used Moroccan oil) and work through the brows

Very easy to use and effective
Their new formula is amazing. I’m very impressed on how they improved the product. The smell is pleasant, with some roses comparing to the previous intense smell. The instructions to use are very simple whereas before I had to read the instructions every time when using it. Now it’s just equal parts of two substances and it’s very easy to mix. The spatula is the perfect design. It makes spreading the bleach on skin very easy and fast.

Lightens skin
Although I saw on other reviews this works for people that have a lot of thin hair, it doesn’t work for people that have thicker body hair like mine. I used it under my arms and bikini line and it only lightened the skin, which is why I gave it three stars, but it didn’t work on the hair.

Great first application, severe burns with the future application around 3 weeks after opening.
I am wondering if anyone else has had the same issue with this product? When I first got this it worked amazingly right after opening the product. It was gental, completely bleached my upper lip, and it didn't even smell too strong. However about 2 or 3 weeks later when I began to notice the hair on my upper lip getting darker again, I mixed and applied the product again. It was stored properly, and mixed correctly. This time I noticed right away that it smelled a lot stronger. And when I applied the product onto my upper lip it started to burn and tingle immediately... Now because it worked so perfectly with the first application right after opening, I figured maybe the activation cream had gotten a bit stronger or something since opening, but I still figured it couldn't be much different than the first application. So I thought that if I could just sit through the burn for at least 30 seconds, then I could rinse and check to see if our had lightened any and check my skin... However, the burning was immediate, and within seconds the burning began to intensify so rapidly that I couldn't even stand it. I had to rinse it within 10 seconds. I hadn't even had time to apply it to the other half of my upper lip! That's how fast and intense it was. I'll be honest, it hurt so badly that I was actually frightened. I was scared. After I gently rinsed the product from my skin, I looked up into the mirror and realized that it had burnt my skin so badly just in those few seconds of contact, that I had actual blisters on my face! Chemical burns that hurt like heck even after I rinsed the product thoroughly. And the blisters soon popped and turned into red patches that then began to scab! Beautiful! Has anyone else ever had similar issues with trying to reapply their facial bleach? I don't want to have to throw it away after just one use, that's such a waste. And buying a new product every time doesn't seem very logical either... idk what to do
