Dire Straits & Mark Knopfler - Little Black Songbook (The Little Black Songbook)

This item is exactly as described … a "little black songbook". (Almost too small to be useful.) Good for song reference and familiarization.

My co-sign loved having this as reference. He is a master guitarist, but having this made his picking much more magnificent. Knopfler is a genius. LOVE this compilation.

The description says it includes chords and words for the songs...... what about melody lines?????? If melody is included with chords and words, a piano arrangement can be done. Is melody included in this book?????

This book is a perfect gift for anyone who loves Dire Straits/ MArk Knopfler. I have no idea about what is in the book , because I do not know guitar , but my daughter said is absolutely perfect .. and I trust her.

Brought for my husband who is a big mark knopfler fan and is starting a tribute band. He usually gets song words and chords on the internet but these are what someone thinks are correct, with this book he can make sure the songs are correct. Obviously as it's the little book it has to be small but it would be great to get a big version as we have to type the songs out larger so he can see while playing.

I'm sure this is a good book but it's way above my head as a relative newcomer to guitar, so pretty useless to me until I become expert.

The Little Black Songbook series is good value with plenty of song lyrics and chords from the ever popular Mark Knopfler and the earlier Dire Straits material. As always with these books in their various titles they are excellent value

Excellent book with all the major songs included. Very useful as it shows the actual tuning and chords used. Something not always obvious to the learner unless you spend a lot of time researching.
