This is a good product. It is super easy to use. It’s really thick, not waxy, but sticky waxy. Warm it up a bit by carrying it in your pocket first. I used a foam makeup sponge to apply to my wood slides on my rough sliding wood drawers. No more squeaks and easy sliding. Easier to apply than a candle, like I tried before, ugh! Also used it on my wood chair legs to get rid of scuffs, then rubbed back with a cloth. It doesn’t add color, it just blends the dry scuffs back to the wood color for some luster. I put some on, let it soak in over night and buffed. No more scuffed wood legs! I have been using it on dry looking wood, and it’s like really good face cream. Smells lightly of lemongrass, which is nice. It adds luster and moisture to the wood surface. A little goes a long way. It is the size of a big can of tuna, so it is concentrated and goes a long way, if you use right. I have alot left, and more projects to use it on.

Happy to find a tung/carnauba/beeswax blend! Works well so far; I found it applied well using just gloved hands, and a little goes a long way. Unfortunately, mine seemed to have a small leak on arrival with solidified product sticking the lid to the pot, so I had to pry off the lid with some damage to the container. It's quite soft and acts more like an oil, so I'm planning on using it primarily as a first or second layer finish on my projects. Would absolutely love a thicker formula that uses more wax for really developing a protective wax layer.

Love this American made product, formulated to keep your wood spoons, bowls, really any unfinished wood, safely moisturized. Easy to use, just rub it in with a cotton cloth, let rest overnight or less, buff with clean cotton cloth...and that's it! Worked so nicely, brought out the colors and grain in the wood, as a side benefit! The pictures are the antique spoon my grandpa carved, before and after!

I highly recommend this wax for any hardwood finishing work. I used it on 2 quarter sawn cherry jewelry boxes and it is excellent! It is a very oily wax that reminds me of the Odie's products, so if you have used and like those, you will like this even better when you see the price difference. I like oily wax but it may not be for everyone, which is why I gave it a 4 for eased of use. I think it is more difficult to apply THIN coats of wax with an oily product, but since I like that type wax better, I get over it. The instructions say leave it on for a few hours. Very true. I found that 5-6 hours worked well and even left one coat on for 8 hours and still had a little wax on my buff cloth. It leaves a satin gloss finish on the box I finished, but that also depends on how much buffing you do. The maker says he is competing against Pledge, Minwax and Howards. I respectfully disagree with him. This product is more in the realm of Odie's, Walrus Oil and other high end specialty waxes. The product label states it is food safe, but I'm not sure with the amount of tung oil and cedar oil in it. I would appreciate an answer on that if someone knows. The lemon oil and cedar oil used for fragrance has a pleasant scent that is not to strong. This will be my go to oil in the future!

After being unable to find my favorite wood wax product, I decided to try Z’s wood wax. I didn’t experience any of the issues that some of the buyers have had. It came in a metal tin and in a hard cardboard box. It was delivered in perfect shape, when I opened it, the wax was still soft. There was no residue on top of some other buyers have experienced. I used it on lots of different wood products and I like the buffed finish that it leaves. I happen to be reading some information on this product and it suggested that it was excellent for stainless steel. I have never found a stainless steel product that I like it either goes on streaky or oily feeling. I thought I have nothing to lose so I tried it on all of my stainless steel appliances. IT IS NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING!! you apply it the same way you would on a wood surface. Use it sparingly and then buff it to a shine with a clean rag. It leaves a beautiful shine that is fingerprint resistant. The biggest thing I like is it doesn’t attract dust like every other stainless steel product I’ve ever used, I totally would buy this again for wood products but even more than that I would buy it just to use on my stainless steel appliances . IT IS AMAZING!

Product works well and is not difficult to use. I gave this product a three star review as when I opened the product there was a thick layer of unusable wax on the top - similar to pudding skin. I estimate the thick layer was about 25%-35% of the product.

This stuff is fantastic! I bought this for a butcher block top we have. It smells great and gives a superior finish!
