This brush is made to go onto an extension pole and helps with the prep work on any paint job. I was very pleased with the performance of this brush on a paint roller pole. It made the low stuff as well as the higher stuff a breeze. You can make short work of removing peeled paint with this brush. I highly recommend you get this brush for all your paint prep work. Another tip is to get some stuff called PEEL STOP, it makes further peeling not happen and is a good prep step for any paint project.This brush took a lot of the back aches out of preping a house for paint. You can get a lot done in short order and the pressure from the paint pole helps get the loose paint off . It makes prep work a lot easier.

The actual length is 7", not 9.9".This Allway wire brush is nearly identical to the Rubbermaid FG9B4500 wire brush. At the moment, the price of this Allway brush is $2.61 less than the Rubbermaid brush, and the handle of this Allway brush is slightly rounded and ridged, so it appears that this Allway brush would be more comfortable than the Rubbermaid brush when used by hand.For my purposes (cleaning concrete block wall prior to sealing), the length of the wire bristles is fine ...

The bristles were just a bit too stiff for what I wanted to use it for, which was trying to remove some moss from my front sidewalk. It worked better for me when I attached a long handle. Wish the bristles weren't quite so stiff.

These things are really sharp... Take a lot of material off with little pressure. I used them like a scrub brush in my hand. They have a perfect fit. the standard wire brush was too wobbly for my purpose. I cleaned the rust off of my drip edge, and these were the trick.

we used this to clear moss and dirt off of driveways to repair and seal the drives. By the time we had finished it had worn down to a nub, but you have to understand--- when we started the second driveway it had over an inch of moss on it.This tool did not require a lot of elbow grease and did the job so well, we are purchasing 2 more for touch ups and small jobs. Literally, our 10 year old son could use it and make progress that amazed him.

I used this brush to remove moss from my paver patio prior to pressure washing. It worked pretty well for this purpose and I'm glad that the bristles were not too stiff or else it wouldn't have worked as well on my paver surfaces. With a little pressure, the bristles will flex and get into the crevices and help loosen and dislodge the moss.

We purchased this Wire Block Brush to clean moss off our Aggregate side walks and asphalt drive ways. The brush is heavy duty and the wire bristles are long enough to get the job done with ease! A Superior product!
