It's great that there's at least one seller offering replacement analog caps for the Nintendo Switch Joycons. For potential buyers who simply need a quick fix to replace torn or worn out caps, this is certainly a decent option to consider. At a glance, they look exactly like the OEM caps from Nintendo. Moreover, they come in a variety of colors that could help make your Switch look awesome, if you are into customization.Unfortunately, there are two potentially deal-breaking flaws that need to be considered if you're thinking of picking these up:1. There are no ridges on the inner part of the cap. The OEM caps provided by Nintendo come with a ridged design on the inner cap that firmly lock the caps onto the analog sticks. This prevents the caps from spinning or popping off, unless, of course, you try pulling them off yourself. However, the replacement caps are smooth, which could cause them to spin around rather easily. Also, because they do not actually lock into place, they could pop off on their own depending on how you handle the analog sticks. This is the more serious problem of the two.2. The actual quality of the caps is quite cheap and flimsy when compared with the OEM caps. The moment you hold both caps, it becomes immediately apparent. The caps from Nintendo are made of a thick, sturdy rubber that look and feel very robust. By contrast, the replacement caps are very thin and feel as if they'll get worn down easily if you play your Switch on-the-go a lot. Honestly, I feel as if I could easily rip them apart myself if I really tried to.To wrap things up, depending on who you are, these caps may be worth it. For casual, or occasional gamers who do light gaming on the Switch, or for gamers who just need a replacement ASAP, these will likely suffice. If, however, you are a hardcore gamer that constantly plays in handheld mode, or you play lots of hardcore action titles that require quick reflexes (Bayonetta 2, Devil May Cry, Doom, Smash Bros), then I simply cannot recommend these. The glaring flaws are just not worth the price of admission.

I was remodeling my switch and figured I would get these since I dislike the feeling of thumbcaps over my thumbsticks. Matches the color of the white buttons perfectly, as well as the highlight of the switch joycons in the system. Played a relaxed game with them that uses the joysticks to move, I’ve ran into no issues. If I see any discoloration in the future I’ll edit this review, but otherwise, I was very satisfied. Extremely easy to put on, but I would not recommend if you want to potentially put your original ones back on someday: original thumbpads have many tabs that keep them in place, and I am not certain how well someone could replace that on their own.Otherwise, the texture feels smooth and playing on it feels like a breeze

Looks great, easy to apply

I do not recommend this product at all. I bought it bevause i needed a replacemt as the original one got taken off. So i bought this because it is able tk go on without the little silicon things going into the analog stick. Less than a week later i had already had one of them fall off multiple times and the left one started peeling or something. These are not as thick as the original ones that cone w the switch so i could immagine they would wear down fast. So i thought maybe i misused them and decided to give it another try and buy another set. So i did. And guess what!!? The SAME THING happened again within the first week!! I included pictures of the right thumb how it peels after barely any use. Wow. I will not be buying them a 3rd time.

The original thumbstick covers have (for lack of a better term) ridges underneath that fit in place of the openings found on the Switch joystick, which kind of lock it in place. These don't have the ridges, causing the rubber to move/spin easily and they don't stay on very long. Steer clear.

As other reviews have mentioned, the original joycon caps have teeth that feed into the joysticks to keep them from rotating and falling off. These do not have these. Also, over time they begin to wear. I've had my set for just over a year, and the texture of the caps has changed, almost as though the original top layer has worn off. The uneven feel collects dust and dirt faster than it can be cleaned off, and is especially visible as I bought the white version. If you're looking to use these long term, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. You get what you pay for.

It is NOT the same color as the Zacian from the Pokemon Nintendo Switch Lite. Purchased to replace the missing cap since my son lost it. Was hopeful but sadly it is NOT the same tone and color. It doesn't look good, but it fits perfectly and does its function. Not worth the hassle of returning or buying.If you are looking to replace your missing Caps from your Nintendo Switch Lite Pokemon edition this is NOT going to match. BUT if you are looking to change your gray color caps from any of the other Nintendo Switch Lite... this is perfect for that.

My original thumb caps came off and I lost one. I was super bummed because I wasn’t able to find any kind of replacements for them and didn’t want to buy new Joy-cons over something so minor. I’m happy that I found these. I decided to get white because I was planning on getting a cute pastel case or a skin for my switch (I got a pink case). The only thing is that if you put thumb caps over these they will pop off with the thumb caps upon removal. Other than that, they are great.

It's not what I thought, the picture shows a square black box. It's the whole piece that's broken.
