Rockport Men's City Smart Waterproof Bike Toe Oxford

Rockport has a very predictable fit across all their shoes. They tend to be slightly narrow compared to my Johnston and Murphy and Dr Martens but stretch a little as you wear them. Arch support is subtle and might not be enough for those with high arches. This is my 2nd pair of this style and this latest pair changed the insert a bit, with more heel support and better heat/sweat management. In summary, a nice looking dress shoe what feels close to a sneaker when walking around. The leather wears well with occasional beeswax treatment, no creases or cracking. Will definitely buy again.

Nice looking shoe. The toe box is not very square, compared to other brands in the bicycle toe style. The shoe was comfortable, and was worn standing for a number of hours. The tongue is not loose, it's "webbed," sewn to the sides of the shoes to make it waterproof. Ultimately, returned, as they didn't breath very well, likely a factor of the water proofing.

My husband always buys Rockports to wear to work, but these were a bit too narrow compared to those he has purchased in the past. Appearance and quality are great and they last a long time for him. He's always on his feet and Rockport shoes are comfortable and don't hurt his feet.

These shoes are great - and the waterproof feature is wonderful, considering these are my mode of transportation for my commute (though they haven't been tested in more extreme weather yet). The insoles are removable, which is nice because I always need orthotics (which I get from The Walking Company). I did mark the shoes as not having good arch support, but that may just be my feet, since I'm not sure I've ever had a shoe that provided the support I needed.

I've had these shoes for 10 months and wear them approximately 2-3x a week. In short these shoes have been great for the first 8-9 months. In the past two months, I have noticed on one, and now both shoes that the soles have split (see images). I don't think my expectations for these shoes are unreasonable and am greatly disappointed that, in well under a year, the shoes have failed so dramatically, especially considering the cost. Buyer beware: based upon my experience these shoes will not last more than 10 months.

very nice shoe, would have been 5 stars if it was true to size .. but the size 13 I ordered fit like a 14.

great fit and great shoe. Looks nice with business attire or even jeans when you want to look nicer than a sneaker and it is waterproof so if you are in normal rain youll stay dry (but not a high top) also has good traction on smooth or slippery surfaces

Looked like they would be comfortable, just not the same size as some of the other shoes I bought from them.
