There are certain items where it is absolutely worth buying the name brand, and this is one of those. I have purchased the generic before, and they bend far too easily whereas these have both good tension and also a better swab than most of the generics have. I am one of those people who uses these to clean my ears, I know I shouldn't, and I find they work very well. As I mentioned, they have a good amount of stiffness so they don't immediately bend. Also, when you look at how many you get, I find them to be a good value.

As expected, Q-tips quality is excellent—soft cotton, strong sticks, and no lint. Combined with the seller’s fast shipping and smooth purchasing experience, this was a great buy overall. I would definitely purchase from this seller again and highly recommend them.

I purchased this 500-count Cutex cotton swabs and overall they work well for everyday use. The quantity is great for the price, and they are useful for multiple purposes like makeup touch-ups, cleaning small areas, and personal care. Pros: • Large quantity (500 count) • Good value for the price • Versatile for makeup and daily use Cons: • The cotton can loosen or separate slightly during use Overall, these cotton swabs are practical and affordable. They get the job done, but the quality could be a bit more consistent. Because of that, I’m giving them 4 stars

There is no compromising quality with any other swab because they just don’t work the same. Q-tips the original has a sturdy stick between each cotton tip never breaks never bends it as a soft cotton tips on either side just like when I was a baby they’re the same ones today. I used them for many many applications.

Definitely not value for money. The sturdiness is lacking in other brands and that is the reason to buy this. Another point, many cotton swabs are manufactured from recycled material whereas this is made from virgin material.
