I use this every spring and fall to help my pond decompose matter and make the water better for the fish. The sent the product in a box this time.

We have been using this in our pond for over 20 years. It is the only ingredient we need together with a good pump that keeps the water clear so that we can enjoy our fish. However, we don't like the packaging (small bags stuffed into a container), and the prices just continue to rise. But the product is excellent.

This is like a shot in the arm to keep algae at bay during hot summer months. Especially when you aren’t able to get all the falling leaves and pollen out of it in the spring which just breeds algae as it breaks down.

We our product arrived I quickly noticed a discrepancy on the application amount to be delivered to our 5000 gl. pond. I called Ecological Labs and they confirmed that many of these were distributed with incorrect labels. Had we followed the printed application rate it would have taken EIGHT containers to treat our pond for a single MONTHS, basically the printed rate was 4X more than required.
