With a large family and several teenagers, we've purchased a number of different types of shaker bottles for mixing things like protein powder or fiber drink mixes, and these have been the best we've come across. So what makes these better than others? There are two main features that set these apart in my opinion.First off, most of the other bottles we've purchased have flat bottoms where powders tend to get stuck and won't mix in. The rounded bottom makes it much easier to get a completely incorporated mix. It also makes cleaning easier so that we're not getting deposits left in the corners to bake in place in the dishwasher, and you can get at everything with a rubber or silicone spatula if needed.Second; the shaker ball. Unlike some of the other options, this weighted ball actually does the mixing work when you shake the bottle. Knock-off brands sometimes have a similar-looking plastic shaker ball that is not weighted and doesn't really do anything if you have a thicker liquid. They may mix in something like coffee creamer okay, but if you want to add something like protein powder or yogurt to the mix and you're better off leaving those out and mixing with something else.Wire whisk balls do a better job than the cheap lookalike plastic balls, but still don't have the weight needed to mix well without doing a pre-workout workout just to shake it up. The weighted ball is a huge benefit.The other features are great too, but you find them on even the cheap bottles, so they don't make a highlight list. The measurements seem to be accurate and are marked clearly enough. The lid is reasonably comfortable to carry with its wider handle, and it seals well.

This shaker is excellent. I love the one I use at home and just bought a second for work. The construction is solid and feels secure. The screw top does not leak and the snap top to drink out of has a substantial feel to it. The curved internal edges provide protection from many bottles that notoriously leave wet powder clumps in the edges. I always get a good mix and is very easy to clean. I simply fill it 1/3 with warm water, shake, and drain it twice. I have yet to have issues with this method. I would highly recommend for someone who needs a great shaker. And the fact that it is inexpensive is another bonus.

This is one of the most straightforward and easy to use shakers I've found. My favorite thing about it is the mouth opening. It sounds weird, but it feels really good against your mouth. The opening is smooth and contoured in a way that makes drinking from it relaxing and pleasant. I also like that it's a simple design. The top snaps down really well and you don't have to deal with those weird built straw-like contraptions that other shakers seem to try to implement. The other nice thing is that the shaker is narrow enough to fit in a cup holder, but still wide enough to fit my hand in when cleaning it (although my hand does get stuck at times, but I have big hands). Overall this is a really great shaker at an incredibly affordable price. I ended up buying one for each of my family members after I bought mine because they kept using mine instead of their old ones. Good stuff!

This is a superb product, much better designed than my old BlenderBottle Classic Loop Top Shaker Bottle, 28-Ounce, Moss Green/Moss Green that is now going to donated to Goodwill.Here is what I love:1) the top lid snaps down really tight, is very secure2) the shaker "ball" (actually a ribbed ball, like a Medieval mace head) is heavy and really smashes up powder well3) the bottom is very rounded, which makes cleanup there easierAll those points were defects in the BlenderBottle.This product's shortcomings are few and minor:a) the shaker "ball", being ribbed is a bit of a pain to cleanb) the top of the bottle is not quite as smooth as it could be, again making cleanup not as easy as it could beKeep up the good work Contigo, and make your next version perfect.

Love this! I have have an aversion to metal and I could only find a bottle with a metal mixer ball in it so I was thrilled to find one with a plastic ball AND this was so reasonably priced. The shaker originally came with a slight crack in the bottle - not sure if it was from being shipped or what, but as soon as I requested a replacement, it was shipped within HOURS and I am back in business with my protein shakes! The bottle is super thick and well made - no chintzy product here!!

The round bottom of the bottle paired with the solid shaker ball censures that no powder clumps at the bottom. Much better than other brands that use a metal spring ball. The plastic is also flexible, but of high quality. I have dropped this bottle while full many times, and the lid did not break.Highly recommend

Contigo Shake & Go Fit Snap Lid Shaker Bottle, 28 oz, BlackThe description threw me off originally. I was understanding this as the entire lid snapped into place. Upon receiving the item I discovered that the entire lid screwed on and the drinking/pouring spout snapped into place. This made me happy as I'm sure you can imagine my questioning of a snap on top with canister for shaking things up with. That said, the lid screws on very securely, and the drinking/pour spout snaps into place securely as well.The inside of the container has no corners, rather just rounded edges. This definitely does help mix powders easier as they don't get stuck or collect in any corners. The little ball also helps break down thicker powders. Keeping it in the container also doesn't hinder the user from drinking.My only gripe is with the SKU sticker at the bottom of the unit. Not sure what kind of adhesive is being used, buy my gosh is it strong!That aside, this shaker is pretty good.
