My daughter is 5 yrs old. And this book has really helped her with her reading skills. The stories are not too long. Definitely will be buying more. She is reading like a champ!!!!!

I *truly* can't heap enough praise on this book. My daughter went from knowing her letters, but still forgetting them somewhat often - to almost being able to read JUST by me teaching her using this book. I'm really impressed with it. I like that the stories are short, but pack in a lot of learning, so little one doesn't get frustrated or tired by going on & on forever. But, at the beginning of this book she really struggled to get through each story. Now, at the end of the book, she's reading the entire story herself except maybe one word ("could," specifically.) I'm just really impressed with how much of a difference this one book has made in a few weeks. Great stuff. I wish there were more of them, I'd buy a whole set if they had them.

The media could not be loaded. I got this for my daughter to study phonics. The book came perfect and is pretty thick so you do get a good amount to learn in it. It is in color and the print is decent size

Great book and my great niece loves it !

This book is great for beginning readers. It deals with short vowel word families. There is a story, words to trace and a word activity . My granddaughter who just completed kindergarten loves working in it and can read the stories.As a retired elementary teacher, this workbook is great for keeping those learned skills sharp during the summer break. I highly recommend it.
