This is the best egyptian musk as I get compliments daily on how good I smell, and it lasts all day. Very little goes a long way. Highly recommend.

Update, Feb 8, 2018... I returned the bottle I reviewed earlier (below) and then bought a new one...it was just as horrible, so I'll be returning this new bottle, too. And it'll be a long time before I try and buy this Egyptian musk oil by Kuumba...Idk what happened...I've been buying this product from Amazon for YEARS!!!! I REALLY hope the same thing doesn't happen w their Persian garden and vanilla musk!!! I really wish I could have reported SUCCESS w this most recent bottle, but whatever little smell there is just smells awful. Buyer beware!!!***FYI…under NORMAL circumstances, I would be giving this product 5 stars…MORE if possible!!! However - and I have NO idea what happened - I very sadly HAVE to give it a ONE!!!!! Here is why:I have been using Kuumba perfume oils for many years, and I LOVE them!!!! They are the ONLY perfume I EVER wear, for many wonderful reasons. Until now, I have ALWAYS been completely satisfied with the MANY Kuumba oils I have purchased here on Amazon over the years.The two Kuumba scents I wear the most are Egyptian musk (cool/cold weather) and Persian garden (warm/hot weather), but I also get their vanilla musk (for cool/warm weather or to mix with the Egyptian musk) and Arabian sandalwood (for the December Holidays!) just to mix things up a bit.I also recently bought a small bottle of their lavender lace, just to try it out…it's really pretty and put it on my wrists sometimes in the evenings when it's time to relax.So as you can see, I truly am a happy and loyal Kuumba customer!!! Well, anyway…back to the sad part of the story…this review is about a bottle of Egyptian musk that I purchased on 12/10/17 and received a few days later.AND OH NO…IT SMELLS HORRIBLE!!!!It isn't just that it doesn't smell like Egyptian musk (which it doesn't, not even a little)...it just actually smells BAD. I think the best way to express it is that it smells like it somehow spoiled…perhaps it's just old, or maybe it’s been stored in extreme heat (or cold?) or...well, I don't even know what, but it is NOT a scent I wish to wear!!!My husband - who always LOVES the way I smell - came home from work and literally said, "Ohhh…what's that smell??" Seriously, I'm not kidding. He said it almost immediately upon saying hello to me (I had put some on as soon as I got it...and despite it being so unpleasant, I didn't wash it off bc I wanted to see if he'd notice. He did.), so I knew I wasn't imagining it.Idk if it's this particular bottle - or maybe even the entire batch from which this bottle came - of Kuumba’s Egyptian musk that smells bad like this, but I will definitely be returning this particular bottle. However, I will happily buy another one in the meantime bc this really is a wonderful product, and I have faith that this was just a one-time blooper. And I better hurry up bc I just finished the last drops of my old - and normal-smelling - bottle, and it feels strange not to smell like…me!!! 😱😜🤗

Always get compliments n how good I smell. I wish it came in a larger size.

This is hands-down the best-smelling Egyptian musk I've found.Other brands have a baby powder-like scent, smell cheap, or don't last.This variation is a thick oil that sits close to the skin with a mysterious ancient smell. It lists the notes as sandalwood and musk, which is pretty spot on. I'd say it's probably an equal balance of three notes. This perfume shape-shifts with the environment you wear it in. It is a fresh-musk-type perfume with a slight earthy scent during the day and a mysterious woody one at night.Even with my description though, it's a difficult fragrance for me to describe. It's indescribable because I've never found any scent with such a perfect mixture of wood and musk. I've bought dozens and dozens of samples and hunted around the Sephoras of every city I've visited and still only found maybe three other fragrances I enjoyed half as much or had the same allure as this fragrance, and even after finding other scents I like, I still always mix them with this as my base.

I am a big fan of this product. I love the subtleness of the fragrance.

This item is not what I previously ordered. The scent, color, and texture of this oil are accurate. However, I am unable to return it, as they are aware that it does not match my prior order, which I find very dishonest. I am dissatisfied with this purchase and would not recommend this product from this company.

This isn't the first I have ordered this. This is my favorite Egyptian Musk. This time I received the small roller bottle when I ordered the .5 oz bottle

Wonderful scent. I’ve had many compliments when I wear this…it can be “smelled” as people walk by or when you’re near people, but the comments from others are that it’s a really fresh and light scent. Not at all strong and offensive. I’ve been wearing this for years and can’t stop, won’t stop. I prefer oils because the scent doesn’t disappear like alcohol based scents. Plus, when I used to wear perfume, not only would the spray somehow get in my mouth…ick…, but the scent would dissipate so quickly. This is still able to be smelled at the end of the day. Wonderful scent if you are a person who loves a light musky/amber scent. And if you’re a little granola crunchy, tree hugging, crystal carrying, woo woo gal like me….it’s perfect!
