Heavy Metal! Looks awesome!
Very nice! It is so heavy, it leave chain marks on my head. I will wear a doo rag under it, so I can tolerate it for Halloween.

Heavy, Solid, Chain
Overall, I'm impressed. My son wanted this to go with a costume and we feel it's a great value for the money. It is quite heavy, telling me it would not break upon the first use. It functions as expected. It fits as expected. It's not super comfortable, but that's expected too. The only downside to any chainmail is that it must be washed to get the fabrication and shipping oil removed.

Can't beat it for the cost
I'm a big dude, six and a half feet tall, around 250+lbs. Face opening fits me well. Chain comes down far enough to partially obscure the Templar cross on my chest. I'm wearing a skin tight hoodie I usually use as my base layer when skiing to keep the chain mail from tangling with my hair; you need something like that. Keep in mind this is for a costume. Would I trust it to stop a sword slash? Nope. Does it jingle like chain as you walk? Yep. Weighs a fair amount. Probably around 5 pounds. For comparison, a full gallon of milk weighs around 8.5. Pencil necks beware. I wore it as part of a costume (the other part was a crusader knights templar Tunic) on a recent cruise for halloween night and got a dozen compliments; made my wife/kids jealous. Wore it through a meal with no issues. It will slip around on your head if you have to pick up something from the ground, but otherwise it stays put well enough. Entire costume cost me $65, but I had a belt I could use, and the the long underwear and basketball shorts for under the tunic, as well as a prop sword already. Still, this piece made the costume; without it you are just a guy wearing a dress.

YOU’VE GOT MAILLE!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Extremely impressed with the quality, as others have said, this hood has some good weight to it, but once it’s on, the weight is evenly distributed over your head and shoulders and actually feels quite nice to wear. I didn’t notice any excess oil on mine and it came well packaged. Looks great under a helmet too!!
