Gait Belts Transfer Belts With Handle, Seat Belt for Wheel Chair(31"-54")

Late stage M.S., can no-longer stand, I fall weekly while transferring. Now I keep my 'BRMDT handled-transfer-belt' within my reach to assist whomever in picking me up, awesome! Doctor office assistants are always delighted when I quickly put it on, to assist them in lifting me (98lbs) from my wheelchair up onto the exam table and off again. At home when I fall, I press my emergency-response-button, and the EMS arrive and are now amazed that I'm awaiting their arrival already with 6 grab-handles strapped around my waist. Now I feel I'm less of a burden, plus it lessens people touching me personally, and it certainly better protects their backs from injury while lifting me. It does take some adjusting to best fit and serve your needs, but after once or twice it is so very helpful and people always want to know where I got it, so I point to the "BRMDT" which is embroidered on it. My 81 yr old mother prefers it for helping getting me in and out of her car, on the rare occasion we go out to eat (I bought a lightweight 18lb wheelchair too, which she is greatful for...anything I can do to be less of a burden).

This is a great belt because of the multiple handles. It's strong and good quality. We've tried several and this one is very good.

This belt is worth every penny. Getting my dad in and out of the shower not only makes him feel secure, but I am at ease knowing I have a good grip no matter which way he turns. The multiple handles give you a grip all around.

excellent device that works well. The only down-side is that the portions of the belt by the buckle have a tendency to "crimp". Makes it harder to set in place and buckle.

Helps me move about my parents 250 & 310 lbs respectively. Quite handy in preventing injuries to myself.

This is a nice belt but was too big for my 91 year old mother.

I purchased this belt to assist in lifting my special needs son. It works wonderful! It has numerous grab handle options, but it works great!

I need something to help transfer my father. This belt relieves stress on my back and on his shoulders. Would definitely purchase again in the future!
