The Healing Power of the Holy Communion: A 90-Day Devotional

I’m about a fourth of the way through this book and have been doing daily communion by myself. The book has helped me stay focused. Communion is becoming more meaningful than it ever has been to me. I’m starting to see the effect of communion in my spiritual and physical life.

I did this devotional with my family. Each night we would read and then discuss it before taking communion together. I enjoyed this family time to gather and even months after finishing this book, we still take communion together each night with whatever devotional we are reading at the time. it is our new habit. But I also have set aside quiet personal time each morning to take communion with the Lord just me an Him. Starting and ending my day with Jesus is a blessing.I got so much out of this book that I bought copies for several family and friends last Christmas who are struggling with health issues. I know it will bless them.

A year after I complicated my pilgrimage with a local Emmaus walk group, I saw a sermon from Pastor Prince via YouTube and it inspired me to do communion every morning along with my other devotionals. For now on, I will use this devotional on a daily basis while I partake of my daily communion

I read a bit of this every day, it is very encouraging and I’d highly recommend it to those going through health challenges.

A wonderful book on Communion..a great blessing to us as a family!

I have only been able to start this book. It is a daily devotional. That's what I bought it for. So it will take 3 months to get through it. It's a nice book that is well designed. It is easy to read and follow through as a daily devotional. I like the length for each day with prayers. It is a perfect length for one day each. It is well written. I will see what emerges out of this with time since Pastor Prince is very good at explaining scripture. I read his other book The Prayer of Protection as a daily devotional. In about the middle I received a very good practical insight that I can make use of all the time & it showed practical results right away. That one will stay with me for life. I will see what this book will do once I am far deeper into it since it is too early yet to tell.
