I have ordered this tuneup kit before. It has all the essential components to keep my JD lawn tractor running as it should. Good value compared to big box stores or local lawn implement dealers prices.

When doing preventive maintenance on my equipment, nothing beats OEM parts. Everything fits perfectly and works as it should. This kit contains all of the necessary items to keep my mower running as it should.One note on the oil - be sure not to over fill your engine with oil. Although this kit contains 2 quarts, my engine only took 1.8 qt. John Deere used 2 different Kawasaki engines in the X304 mowers (depending on your year). Don't put both quarts in just becuase they were in the kit. Check your manual or call John Deere with your serial number to get your oil capacity.

Has everything you need, buy the kit and be done instead of buying stuff seperate, almost year's buying this for my x300, no issues. All oem stuff

Everything fits John Deere x300 with Kawasaki engine from 2007, but the oil filter is smaller and not the one it has had. I can’t say it doesn’t work, I’m just not taking a chance and purchased another oil filter that is actually supposed to fit. Spark plugs, oil, and air filter all fit. Good price for bundle, just wish it had the correct oil filter.
