NOISY CANE? It can be FIXED in 5 seconds if you tighten a ring! :-)I can't believe I never noticed it before now, but there's a ring halfway down the cane that makes the cane quiet if you tighten it! It's midway down the shaft of the cane, where the two pieces come together.It's really obvious once you spot it, but it's really easy to miss it on some of the busy patterns. I always thought it was just bad/good luck whether my cane was quiet or loud, but it turns out they almost all have this ring -- you just first adjust the height where you want it, then tighten the ring, and ta-dah! Quiet cane! Who knew? ;-)I attached a picture to this review to show the ring. If you need to adjust the length again later, you just unscrew the ring first to make it easier to slide the tubes apart to adjust. (It makes it easier on your back & other joints to always have the proper length cane, so it's best to readjust the height if you wear a higher heel one day, or walk barefoot another day, for example.)The "Proud Peacock" design is beautiful -- it has a lot more to it than the 1st Amazon picture shows. There's a whole peacock with beautiful feathers lower down on the shaft of the cane. You have to click on the SECOND picture of that design to notice the peacock -- at first I thought, "why is it called peacock if it's just blue & white swirls...?" I'm so glad I noticed that second picture, though, because it's gorgeous! Really original looking...the colors get darker and more dramatic as the cane continues downward. I attached pictures so you can see it better, if you want.The cane itself I really love -- my previous patterned cane was from CVS, and this is exactly like those. Very sturdy, last for years (I only bought a new one because I got bored and wanted a new design!) The handle is comfortable and doesn't make my wrist hurt at all. The hand grip lasts a weirdly long time -- I have a cane I've used for several years, and that hand grip isn't damaged at all. This is made the same way, very good quality black foam or whatever it is. Nice that some things are still made well!The only thing I do is change the tip every so often when it wears down. I look on Amazon for a smooth tip, one without the ridge at the bottom -- that way, when I use the cane to hold a self-closing door open, the cane tip doesn't get stuck between the bottom of the door and the floor. (To replace the tip, you have to really work to get the original one off -- you might even need to kind of destroy the old tip or slice it with a box cutter, they're usually really stuck on there. But you're not missing anything, they just really are HARD to get off!)

The design is very pretty! I love it!The cane is more lightweight than my last one, which I accidentally left in the basket at Walmart, and I wasn't sure if it would be just as strong. It is!Easy to adjust, very strong and the hand grip and the rubber base are just perfect.This is a great cane!!

I love the cane it’s beautiful . If you have to use an adjustable cane you might as well look good with walking with it. I feel comfortable using it. The Handel is soft and comfortable. I got this cane because I had a Full knee replacement and I’m 5’1’. Easy to adjust to my height.

Needed a cane that would adjust to my height needs after a home accident. I chose the peacock style and it is so very pretty. It is full of color - blues, purples, pinks, greens. If you weren't looking for the peacock you would just see pretty swirls of color...but a clear and beautiful peacock is also present. The cane functions perfectly, adjusts easily and is comfortable to use. It was a close friend for 6 weeks and I will have it for future use, should the need arise. Worth every cent! Every senior citizen should have one at home.

Love the cane, the peacock design is beautiful and gets a lot of compliments. Only gave it a 4 because it comes with your typical tip that is not very sturdy and I ended up swapping out for a better one that can stand on it's own. Would purchase again because I love the design, only wish they had a flamingo design, that could clinch it for me!

With knee replacement surgery looming, I decided a cane could help me with my trouble spots: up and down stairs and steep hills. I was right -- it gives me enough to support to walk up stairs without feeling like my knee will give way and allows me to walk the hills here with more confidence. This cane has a nifty design, is light weight, and easy to adjust. When I wear a boot with a modest heel, I can easily make it a bit longer, and shorten it when I am back to flats. The wrist strap gave me assurance in the beginning of using it that I wouldn't lose it if I needed my hand back temporarily. I do wish it were more collapsible. I rarely need it on flat or gently sloping surfaces and would love to stash it in my backpack, but it doesn't collapse short enough for that.

This is the most beautiful cane I have purchased. I am 43 and have had two back surgeries and need knee replacements. I will have a can forever. I am picky and have two canes and saw this one and had to have it. The picture does not do it justice. It is just more beautiful in persons I am not a gaudy person, but the mix of colors and the dramatics in this cane are breathtaking. I couldn’t ask for more. The handle is comfortable and the bottom is sturdy. I feel safe with this cane. I feel pretty with this cane. It’s difficult to say that you look pretty with a cane when people stare at you all the time and pity you. What a way to build your self esteem with a new beautiful cane. Thanks!

LOVE this beautiful cane! It's very sturdy and the grip is larger than my old cane. I just feel more secure when using it! And the Peacock design is really stunning! It has vibrant colors and is so much prettier than I even thought it would be! All in all, I'm very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it. I've always bought the basic black cane at Wal-Mart...so glad I decided to get this new one and have a little fun with the design! :)
