A great regular reference guide
Product Design Process is an easy book to get on with. From the start it clearly and concisely sets out the whole end-to-end design process, from taking an idea for a digital product into a first version release. It's primarily aimed at product and UX designers, but because it explains the steps so clearly, I'd recommend it to anyone involved in designing, managing or owning digital products. The wide use of illustrations throughout to explain methodologies set it apart from other books too. It's particularly useful for those getting to grips with modern design processes, as well as a useful reminder to those with more experience. Its strength is in how it links all the main processes together, from research to ideation to execution, so readers can appreciate the influences each stage has on the next. You can literally use it as a step-by-step guide to designing an app or website, or just keep it nearby when you need a handy reminder or sense checker.I guarantee it will be one of those books in regular use, rather than read once and put back on the shelf.

A good process based overview of UI/UX driven application design.
"Product Design Process" lays out digital product design as a sequence of concise and easy to follow steps and the described activities and tasks will be familiar to anyone who has worked on agile web based or mobile applications in some capacityThe volume's greatest value will firstly be to those who are new to UI/UX driven software projects or only have experience with one or two methodological approaches to the endeavour and are looking for wider context. Secondly, it will have value for business people who might not themselves be designing/developing applications but are placed in a position where they must provide some level of stewardship to such projects.I have personally found the sections on user research (particularly the persona method) and high level architecture to be very useful as reference points when reviewing solution requirements during consulting and pre-sales work.

basic and overpriced
There is nothing in this book that can not be learnt online for free, faster and easier. I Felt let down by this one as it was highly-priced I expected more.
