Sport-Brella Versa-Brella SPF 50+ Adjustable Umbrella with Universal Clamp

Coolest sunbrella ever! I saw a youtube review where a guy had one on his fishing kayak and it was doing well despite some wind, so I went for it. There are a number of ways this sunbrella attaches to my canoe, and the orientations are infinite! I just had some benign skin cancer cut off, so am trying to reduce my sun exposure. I'm also going to attach this one to my tractor! And, you could easily carry this as a regular umbrella. The carrying case is nice as well.

I don’t know how much of a difference in size the larger size would be. At the time I ordered there was a larger gap in price but now the larger is just a couple of bucks more. I love my sun umbrella but I am a thin woman and I wish the coverage was wider so I am thinking a larger size would have been more comfortable for me. It attaches easily and securely to my metal bench on my deck and I find the push buttons to work well and are a wee bit hard to push in but that makes them hold better I think. I am able to sit in the sunny part of my house now and know that I will not get burned or blinded by the scorching sun. This is a great invention. I love it.

Best buy I made for fishing it's tall so your not bumping into and it moves anywhere you need and the clamp is built really well

The canopy is quite small so unless you’re parked somewhere, this item is unlikely to work very well for shade or rain. But it folds up and carries well.

I purchased this to attach to the cart I bought alongside it, as I wanted to add an umbrella. The 360-degree rotating arm is fantastic, allowing me to adjust the position to block sunlight as it moves throughout the day. I’m very satisfied with its performance. The umbrella provides UPF 50 protection, which is a great bonus.I’m really happy with the UPF 50 protection that comes with this umbrella. It can be attached to various places, so depending on your ideas, it could be perfect for attaching to a camping chair or for outdoor activities. Personally, I’ve attached it to the cart I bought for my popup accessory store, which allows me to avoid the sun all day, and I’m very satisfied with this.A friend of mine is considering buying one to attach to their popup tent so they can protect products that are sensitive to heat by adjusting the umbrella to block the sunlight throughout the day.The build quality is solid, and I expect it will continue to provide great performance. The umbrella has a unique shape, which actually helps create more shade, which is really useful. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, too.It would have been even better if it folded more compactly, but that’s a minor issue that doesn’t bother me much. I highly recommend it!

Update: I decided to use this umbrella for its intended purpose instead of a shield for my plants getting started. After less than one year of use, using two times max per week only during summer months, the mechanism to attach the umbrella to a chair has now failed. There is a nut, bolt, and spring that are now malfunctioning. There’s no way to tighten the handle and affix it to any item in order to use. This umbrella has now become useless. To only get a few months of use out of this piece, it was way over priced. I will never be purchasing this umbrella again.As you can see in my photos, I am not using this umbrella for its traditional use on a chair for a human being at the moment. Making a poor decision, I planted some herbs, succulents, and cacti right before a heavy rain, and didn’t want to chance them getting destroyed. I had previously added this item to a wish list for its traditional use and thought why not get it now since it could have dual purposes. Well, as an umbrella for my 3 tier plant stand, it is wonderful. I put the umbrella in two separate locations along the second shelf, as well as with slight differences in the tilt/angle. This umbrella is very versatile. At each joint you can make adjustments. The base joint can be turned/rotated almost 360°. This really came in handy when placing the umbrella in the center of my second shelf as I could rotate the pole forward on the swivel so it was out of the way of the 1st and 3rd shelves. So far, the pushbutton controls along the umbrella pole seem smooth and durable. I have only been able to test out the umbrella in mild winds at about 5 to 10 mph and it withstood that just fine. I have noticed when I go to remove the umbrella from the shelf after raining, it has loosened very slightly at the c-clamp but not enough to be an issue. I purchased the umbrella in gray and it gives quite sufficient UV coverage. The umbrella comes with a nylon carrying case with shoulder strap. This size small, gives perfect coverage for my 24” wide plant stand and would be suitable for 1 average sized person in a chair. I cannot wait until it heats up again so I can try out this umbrella on a chair as intended. So far this is one of my better purchases on Amazon, I definitely recommend it to others, and would purchase it again if need be, possibly in a different color or larger size.
