I'd give it 7 stars if I could
This is absolutely best for cleansing pores I've ever used!! Only used it for two days so far and my blackheads are GONE!!! Also, the two blemishes I had yesterday morning are all but gone!! I'm completely sold on this product and this brand! I have been using their micellar water for about a month now and I'll definitely be a repeat customer for both products. Only complaint is there's no option for a subscription so I'll have to reorder them when I run out

Ok but didn’t do enough for me
Bought this to try and battle perimenopausal acne and redness of my face. It did help with the redness a bit but did nothing for the acne. It didn’t make my skin any worse so that was good; just didn’t do enough to help so I’ll be trying other products.

No change
The ingredients and claims for this product were intriguing to me and I couldn't wait to use it. I struggle with acne-prone, mature skin. The clear, watery serum absorbs completely into my skin when applying. No stickiness or residue issues. No discernible scent. The problems: $85. Seriously? Better work better than anything I've ever used before. It didn't. There is absolutely no difference in my skin from when I began using this and now (and the bottle is nearly empty). This product just didn't do anything for me.

Best bottle design they came up with for $85? :O
I was really interested in trying out this Pause line. I’ve been in menopause for a while now but when I was going through it, there weren’t many products targeted for this. Actually, there weren’t this many skincare products period as there are now! So the competition is fierce for our dollar. What I like:-This serum does not irritate my face at all! I have sensitive skin with slight rosacea and there is zero burning, stinging, redness, itching, etc. It may or may not calm my skin but it certainly does not irritate it.-It is Made in the USA, which is always a huge plus for me-The scent is not overpowering—actually, I don’t mind scent but sometimes I do want something more on the unscented side and this barely has a scent.-This line has a clear brand and a clear message so I know what I’m purchasing. There’s a lot of information on the Amazon page. And if I like one of their products, I have the others to choose from. Having an entire line with a clear message is good.-A little seems to go a long way so this ounce of product will last longer. What I’m not as sure about:-It’s really thin so that makes applying it a little awkward. I’m not a big fan of the thinness. The delivery system is a little unique, sort of, where you twist the cap and that draws the serum into the dropper, then you plunge the top to deliver the serum onto your palm—you can’t really get it on your fingers or it may dribble through your fingers, so they suggest palm. Well, it’s awkward. I press my two palms together and then pat around my face. It’s not a huge deal-breaker, but it’s still awkward.-The price. $85 for an ounce. I’m not quite sure this makes me feel super pumped and happy to have as some other pricey products have done. It’s not luxe where I’m going ‘ohhh, this feels wonderful!’-The bottles are ugly. Now, that shouldn’t matter but it does only in that I have other skincare products in prettier bottles that I sit on my countertop—I hope these bottles can be recycled—they are plastic, which isn’t a problem, but they look plain and uninteresting. For $85, maybe something a little nicer looking? Something I’d like to see sitting on my counter. And make sure it’s recyclable! If you want me to pay $85 and if other companies are also offering skincare lines in pretty packaging, well .... Yeah.Overall, I’m willing to give this Pause a try. I want to see GREAT results for this price-line, however. Because for me, since I really find it hard to tell what a product is doing, and can’t know on a cellular level, the experience of it is how I gauge whether I’ll purchase again—does it make me feel happy in a reason a can’t explain (not really)...? Is it luxe (not really but the ingredients are quality)...? Is it in nice bottles that make me happy to look at (a big no)...? Does it feel great going on(I guess, but it’s like water)...? Do I have confidence in the company’s message (I do!)...? Where is it made(US!)...?3 stars and I’ll see. But with all my other choices I have out there, this Pause serum could do some improving on its consistency and its packaging.Thank you for reading my review. Hope it helps you!

The lightest most moisturizing serum that soaks right in
I have been using PAUSE Well-aging products for a while now and really love everything about them and they've really transformed my skin. I love the simplicity of the products and how well they work, and they also smell really good, which is a bonus. I was waiting and waiting for a serum to come out, and BOOM, it arrived and I couldn't wait to get it to add it to my regimen. THEN to ind out it also helps with acne was everything for me, because I have been struggling with peri-menopausal acne, so this serum is the answer to all my aging needs. I have been using it for 2 weeks and already see and feel a difference, and I love it so much. A little bit of the serum goes a long way and I love that it's not thick and gooey. It's clean and light and goes on like a super penetrating liquid. It is the ultimate and I am so happy with the results. Now I feel complete with the micellar water, cleanser, serum and moisturizer. I love the entire collection. Thank you Pause! xo

feels good, do not like the dropper
The serum is light and easy to apply. it does not leave much residue. It feels good on the skin and I think my skin looks better.I do not like the dropper - it is made so when you unscrew the cap, it pulls the serum inside of the dropper "for perfect amount" but it is not perfect, it just fills it to the brim. It is too much. It is a crafty way to make us use more than needed. To dispense from the dropper, you press on the top that popped up when you were unscrewing the cap. If you are careful, you can dispense less than the suggested full dropper. I do like to be in control of how much I use, I do not need their perfect amount.

No noticeable changes
While Ive never struggled with acne once hitting my adult years I do get a few pop ups during my period. I was able to test this on my self throughout the past week and noticed no changes. My tween daughter has started to het breakouts on her face, chest and back so decided to try this on her. Applied it to her trouble spots every evening and about 5 days after using her back acne became worse so we stopped using.

an important part of my skin care regimen
Skin care is important throughout a woman's life but especially in the years when our hormones are shifting and the body is trying to continue on differently. This serum was amazing in helping to maintain the status quo, addressing the tendency to break out. I never understood that this was related to hormonal changes and thought maybe this is worth a try? Well, my face feels great and the little breakouts spots have largely disappeared. I love the bottle and how it measures the right amount as you open it. The serum is clear and watery and you could easily use too much other wise. Certainly a good part of my skin care routine now.
