This definitly eliminates a good deal of that
This arrived just as pictured. It is ALRIGHT. I find that the sizing runs just a tad smaller than I expected, but it still works without being too tight on my pup.I bought this to prevent my dog from choking himself when he pulls on the leash. This definitly eliminates a good deal of that, but it still seems to choke him at the right angle/if he pulls hard enough. ( we're working on solving that issue with training, but in the meantime..)

After using this harness for a good few months
After using this harness for a good few months, I'd say there should be a size option between extra small and small. The extra small is too small for my dog and the small is big and when I close his harness I barely have any Velcro to close it. Besides that, I have tried over 15 harnesses and I am happy with this one.

Good starter
I needed something to use just getting my new puppy back home from Georgia in July. After I got this, I will assume she will out grow it fast and then I will be getting a harness that has a clip on the "chest" portion not on the back as that just encourages the dog to pull.
