Q: Is the aerator a standard threaded variety? I wish to be able to attach a dishwasher adapter.

Yes. I just installed this faucet. We DID remove the aerator - it was difficult, it took wrapping it with a piece of fabric and using a wrench to do it - but we now have a portable dishwasher aerator attached ready to use with our countertop dishwasher.

Q: can this faucet run both hot and cold water?

Yes it can. All the needed hookups were built into the product, so I just attached one to hot and one to cold and it was working perfectly.

Q: Does it have set screws so you can limit how far the neck can turn, so you dont flood the counter?

The one I got for our RV has no stops on the neck rotation. in our case its nice because you can turn it all the way around out of the way in the limited space.

Q: Can you purchase a base for this faucet?

This well-made unit is designed for single hole installation.
