A Big Collection of Alphabets in Cross Stitch

Very nice assortment of alphabet patterns!

A must for all cross stitches for many projects

This book is great. I've recently picked up cross stitching again after years. This book is very helpful in choosing various styles of Alphabet letters. I am impressed on how many different ones there are. Great addition to my hobby supplies as fewer craft stores are around as well as book stores carrying items like this.

Although this book contains over 140 different alphabets, there isn’t pictures of all of them. There are five pages of photos but I found many are duplicates (even triplicates) of the same alphabets leaving someone to wonder what some of the letters will look like from black and white patterns. I am thrilled with the diversity but wish for more photos.

If you love cross stitching this book has many alphabet patterns in all sizes and shapes.

Perfect book for deciding on changes to words and names for my projects

A skinny and somewhat disappointing book which offers very little to an experienced stitcher. Should have more and come with a cd to make it worth it.

Dieses Heft ist eine sehr schöne Sammlung von originellen und abwechslungsreichen Alphabeten in Kreuzstich. Wunderbar geeignet um alltägliche Gegenstände zu personalisieren. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Me gustó pero esperaba todo el alfabeto con ilustraciones a colores y no solo las primeras 3 letras. En los patrones no logras apreciar a detalle tenía una expectativa más alta 😞

La première et dernière de couverture -du livret 140 alphabets que j'ai reçu- ne correspondent pas à la photo de l'annonce. C'est regrettable et bien dommage car de ce fait : - 1) -il n'y a aucun lien entre le récapitulatif des modèles qui est imprimé en 2ème page ( de couverture) - 2) - donc récapitulatif non exploitable pour une recherche rapide. J'ai reçu un livret dont la couverture correspondrait à un montage fait à partir d'un autre livret "136 Alphabet Charts - ou Alphabet Galore" - que j'ai acheté et reçu en même temps. Cependant : tous les alphabets proposés sont intéressants, différents, par la taille, forme, avec pour certains de jolis motifs en couleurs . Les grilles sont claires, bien lisibles, avec les ref couleurs DMC et Anchor. Un régal et une mine où piocher

I bought this book so that I could conjure up some snarky phrases. Unfortunately they are all too rude to post in review pictures, so you will just have to believe me when I say that they are quite easy to follow. The images are crisp, and the paper is thick enough that there is no show through of other designs onto the page. I use 14 ct aida when completing projects with this book and they have all turned out nicely. The only thing I had difficulty with (as someone who is fairly new to cross stitching) was counting my stitches in advance in order to figure out where to start. But I'm sure there are some instructions for that somewhere too! For quite a thin book, the selection of fonts is brilliant, from large ornate fonts with illustrations, to small, delicate fonts that can fit on a pin badge. I really have had a lot of use out of this book. I am really tempted to get the other books in the series too, but maybe after I have used this one a little more.
