RevellRV06890 Easy Click 1:29 - Star Wars X-Wing Fighter Plastic model kit, white

Bought this as I wanted a larger scale x-wing. Quite a steep price which would have been ok if this was a decent kit. It isn't. This is a 'toy' with really poor details, overly thick plastic and ridiculous ejector pin marks on exposed surfaces. I have no idea what they were referencing but the panel lines and 'greeblies' don't match anything I've seen. It's going to take a lot of work to fix this.

Imho best large scale X-Wing kit. At 1/29 (1/30) scale its almost 18 inches long. Snap together for ease of building gives a great X Wing. Also a great place to start with weathering 'Red 5' building up layers of dirt and grime and giving it an overall well used appearance.Lighting kit is avaliable to give the cockpit and engines a realistic glow, not included but we'll worth it.All in all well proportioned and detailed as it stands and can be taken much further with a little work and time.

The kit itself is fine, easy construction, and simple instructions. I decided to completely repaint, weather, and add some LED's. The lighting is easily done without buying a proper kit with some basic LEDs and battery pack. Pleased with final model.

Might seem expensive model, however the ease of construction and detail, not to mention the size of the model is worth every £.No glueing, unless you feel you don't want to dismantle. Superb detail & parts assemble easily.Its the size of the finished model that is worth the money, 45cm X Wing with fully operating wings, opening canopy and R2D2 in the rear. Excellent model.

Most parts fit well. Reasonable detail even if not entirely screen accurate. Good for the offer price paid, but would be very disappointed if I had paid full list price. Box arrived without an outer, so Amazon labels stuck over box art. Not a major problem unless planned as a gift.
