Rip off
Out of 8 colors, only white and blue worked well. All the others would leak and pool up and the ink would make a mess but somehow either dry up or clog or something so that the pen wouldn't actually write. I tried replacing the tips but same issue. I don't know if it's the formula or what but when only a quarter of the product is working, you're getting ripped off. Not to mention that these do not wipe off and the chalkboard had to be painted with chalkboard paint in order to change the words on the board.

These markers are really great at first
You need to shake and press the tips down on a hard surface to activate the liquid into the tips when you first get them.These markers are really great at first, but they aren't a convenient marker to just 'have on hand' and add to your craft supply because they seem to dry up if you don't use them frequently. I ordered them a year ago and use them infrequently so they have pretty much dried up now and the liquid isn't filling the tips properly. However this wouldn't be a problem if you are buying them and plan to use them a lot, they work best the more you use them I think . Great for kids too and easy clean up with water, or acetone if you left the chalk on for too long and it sticks to your board.

Do NOT use on a chalkboard
Do not buy these for a chalkboard! They do not come off! I used Chalk Ink for years, ran out, and decided to give this brand a shot based on the reviews. I am so disappointed. As far as I'm concerned "chalk markers" is misleading.

Having trouble with these! The yellow was not working from the beginning, a couple of the others are drying up already. I'll have to order some other type for work ASAP.

Vibrant and clean!
I am a teacher and just got into my classroom to decorate this week. I wanted to go with the chalk theme and didn't want to use the regular white chalk. This product was the perfect fit for that. The colors are vibrant and not messy at all. They also do not smear as you write with them. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product. The reason for 4/5 stars is because there is a little prep work that needs to be done when you first use them which takes awhile and one of my markers doesn't work as well as the others. Other than that, it is a great product!
