Clubman Pinaud 2-in-1 Beard Conditioner and Face Moisturizer, 3 oz

Amazing product. I switched over from another brand after a friend told me about it. I will say , the smell is amazing and it makes my beard soft. Best part, it doesn't irritate my skin since I have sensitive skin with products! It doesn't leave my beard greasy feeling either.

Smells good. Husband was having dry/itchy beard but this has fixed that issue. As well as softening the hair!

So far it seems to be working fairly well. I have used clubman products in the past and have been in desperate need to do something to keep my skin and facial hair from getting dry and brittle. I have only been using this for a few weeks now but think it is making a difference. I am also still trying to figure out exactly how much I need to be using and the best way to apply. Out of the tube it looks and feels similar to a typical skin moisturizer except a little on the thinner side. It has a slight scent to it that I can no longer detect after about 5 or 10 minutes of application. It 'dries' clear. I cannot quantify how well it is working for me but I know it is better than not using anything. My skin around my facial hair has been a bit softer, not itchy and not dry since I started using it. It seems like it is making a difference with my hair too as it seems to be not nearly as brittle and dry as before but since I am not a hair professional it is really hard to say. I intend to continue using this product until I am through both tubes and continue to monitor the progress. I am quite likely to replace my supply once the second tube gets low but we'll see. If anything major changes for better or worse, I will update this review appropriately. I have used a few other Clubman products before and have always been pleased with them. So far this beard conditioner has been satisfactory. Normally I would give it a 3 out of 5 but since people now a days seem to see an 'average' rating as a 'bad' thing, I will leave my 5 star rating in place as I am not actually displeased with the product in any way.

3.5 stars bumped up due to low cost. When it comes to shaving, I have been using Clubman forever (aftershave, talc). I even used their mustache wax (which smells like lemon pledge) in my beard for awhile before the beard craze hit and oils/balms/waxes from a multitude of vendors became all the rage. Since then, I still use the Clubman aftershave and talc, but I have become very loyal to Honest Amish when it comes to beard products (though I will stray over to Etsy every now and then, just to spice things up). I bought this because I wanted something simple to take along on vacation without worrying about breaking an oil bottle or losing a prized tin of balm or wax while on a trip. I don't plan on using wax on my beard while I'm kickin' it at the beach, but I still want to ensure that the skin underneath is healthy and the beard is soft. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Super soft beard- I was actually surprised at how soft this made my beard (like when you use a good conditioner in your hair). Lots of volume (again, great conditioner- this made my beard pretty fluffy). Good for the skin (not as good as an oil). Cons: Scent- This is my least favorite element of the product. If I use this with a few other products, I almost smell nothing; as if it were unscented (good thing). Unfortunately, when I use it solo, the scent stands out and I don't love the scent (it reminds me of an aftershave balm like Gillette or Nivea or the unscented version of Edge shave gel that I used a million years ago in high school). Not a big deal, but I like Clubman scents and was hoping this would smell similar to their aftershave. I would normally assume it was just me, because I have a super-sensitive sense of smell. Hold- while this is only a conditioner, it does not offer the hold of many oils/balms I've used, which are also conditioners. All in all, I will continue to use this on days when I want to condition my beard but don't want to bother with getting spruced up with wax. But if I'm grooming with a wax, I will continue to use HA oil or balm followed by HA wax. Do not believe I will repurchase, simply due to the scent. Peace.

I've used a lot of beard products, and most work fine, but are just way too perfumy and strong smelling. This stuff is great. It has a pleasant smell that isn't overbearing. It definitely makes the beard softer. This is based on the wife confirming it. Also, it isn't greasy at all and doesn't make my beard all shiny like some do. I like to keep things simple. I'm not going to sit around putting different stuff on my face. It's a conditioner and moisturizer in one. If you get it on your face outside the beard area, it's good for your skin. No stench like your face got sprayed with dollar store cologne, and no greasy shiny weird look. I'd recommend this to anybody who wants their beard to be more manageable, and not feel like steel wool on your woman's skin. Great stuff!!

This product works well, but the scent could be a little stronger.

I used to buy this off the shelf at the local supermarket or big box pharmacy, but about 18 months ago I was no longer able to find it. Tried other brands but some smelled so bad I couldn't stand it, had to wash my beard just stop from smelling it. I was so frustrated and my wife said, "Try Amazon" Why didn't I think of that? I looked and found it, ordered it and it was here 2 days later! So glad to have it that I threw all the others in the trash since I wasn't using them anyways and am happy again! Glad I didn't cut my beard off in frustration! Doesn't have to be a big name fancy brand that eveyone else uses, if you find something you like, keep using it. Leaves my beard soft, and the fragrance reminds me of my grandpas shaving cream fragrance after he shaved. I will continue to buy it, and thank you Amazon for having it available.

No uso la barba muy larga, pero siempre parece que se me desescamaba la piel debajo del barba. Una cepillada y 2 aplicaciones (poco producto) al día, removieron completamente la "caspa" de barba y la piel debajo esta hidratada. Muy buen producto y olor agradable.

Seems to work better than the cheap oil I had been using. Can't stand the smell though. It reminds me of the old barber in my hick hometown that gave me some lame Kenny Loggins spikey mullet cut when I wanted something punky. Got my own clippers and "fixed" it myself later but I digress... The smell does at least fade after an hour or so...

Ho una barba di media lunghezza estremamente riccia e questo balsamo la rende morbidissima e piacevolmente profumata. La fragranza , che non è assolutamente invadente, mi ricorda il profumo di una camicia appena stirata.... non banale. La texture è abbastanza grassa, ma non lascia residui untuosi.... Amazon sempre impeccabile con la spedizione
