Aloha 65 - Hot Sauce (150ml), Hot and Spicy Handmade Small-Batch Sauce/Relish made with Roasted Pineapple, Ginger, Scotch Bonnet Chilli, and Carefully Selected Herbs and Spices, (Single Bottle)

Each week my wife and I have about seven different hot sauces while watching Hot Ones on YouTube. These include face melters with ghost peppers/ scorpion peppers/ scotch bonnets etc. Heat wise this sauce is one of the most mild but it would still be hot enough to make a hot sauce novice uncomfortable (it would probably kill my mum)However, even though it won’t make a hot sauce pro sweat, the taste is fantastic. Very complex and layered with fresh and lovely flavour that is seriously moreish and is good on savoury but also sweet (try it with ice cream!)It’s the sauce we now always start our hot sauce sessions.

Don’t write reviews but this is hands down the best sauce I have ever consumed. I can’t call it a hot sauce as it has virtually no heat “I’m sensitive to spice” and I can’t pick up on any chilli but the flavour that this sauce gives is absolutely immense. This really is a summer sauce with its punchy tropical flavour. Works amazing with chicken and drizzled over grilled vegetables.

Not spicy at all really, has a sweet flavour. Works well with chicken.

Very tasty dauce with a gingery / fruity taste and not overly spicy. What i struggled with was actually using the sauce. In the end I used it as a substitute for chilli jam on a cheese board and it did the job there. I also used it in a salsa which worked. I think overall it is a tasty product, however it takes somebody with a little more creativity to pair it

Tasty and moorish. I did not find this hot all, though it was spicy. It tastes great. I found it more akin to a condiment. It's easy to use everyday on most dishes.

I don't know if I got a bad batch or something, but the predominant flavour here is coriander. It's very strong, whatever you put this on will just taste of coriander. It masks all other flavours, which is not what I want.It's not that spicy at all, which defeats the purpose for me. You do get a fair amount of sweetness, but not much of a pineapple favour, just a hint. The ginger tastes like ground ginger and is also quite subtle.The flavour profile really isn't what I thought I was getting, so it's a no from me. It masks the taste of my meal and doesn't give enough of a spicy kick.

So after reading the reviews i decided to give it a go and was pleasantly surprised as there is heat but it's not overpowering and is full of flavour and not to expensive, I'll definitely be buying it again.

This isn't really hot or spicy: you shouldn't have to add spice to hot sauce.The flavour was quite nice, ended up making my own pineapple based sauce.
