I used this product to engrave patterns into an ultra compact material (Lapitec) with a cnc. I had my doubts but it performed well above my expectations at 4800 rpm, 1/32” depth, 1”/minute travel with plenty of water for coolant. Engraved 50 stars in an American flag roughly 19”x 10” with just one bit and it still looks new. Kudos

The very fine point will wear down quickly. I was engraving granite and found that 1/16 depth was about the max I could go in one pass without destroying the tip. Use lost of water for cooling. I used them on CNC machine 10 ipm feed rate and 10,000 rpm. The shank is not 1/4", but will work fine if you have ER collets that adjust to range of sizes.

I ordered a 30 degree bit based on the drawing in the item description photos. I received a 30 degree on axis, or 60 degree on point bit instead. The bits were of a better quality than the picture and I will still use them, but be warned that the angle is different than shown.

Work good hold up well

Note: the shank size is 6mm and Not 1/4"(6.35mm) but I have a 6mm collet for my router. Arrived on time as stated, look to be sharp and sturdy for engraving. Satisfied with order and price.

This tool did exactly what I needed it to do which was carve up some tiles. Worked great!!
