Important note for anyone considering this item: the first item, Stitchsmart 2 stand for $170, does not include the LED light and pattern holder even though they are pictured in the description. If you want those you have to purchase them separately by purchasing the item labeled "Art Deco" for $120. That means for the whole setup you will be spending about $300. While the product description for the $120 accessories claims that the stand is included, this is a lie. I nearly deducted a whole star for this. Now we can get on with how cool this stand is. My first impressions are very positive. The frame holder does accommodate my 11" Q-snap frame (see picture.) I will note that it's probably a bit less secure with Q-snaps than a standard hoop would be, but it works fine for my purposes. This stand has functionality that many do not - it rotates 360 degrees so you can easily reach the back of your work. It is pretty adjustable to suit my height and the angle of the frame. It appears to be of very sturdy construction. It's easy to slide under the couch, it's easy to move. (Note: make sure you have at least 3" clearance under your couch or it might not fit.) I love the accessories which I purchased separately. They are of very high quality, very adjustable and sturdy! The LED is fantastic, clear daylight, the perfect amount of light and can be set to any angle. (The light has a much bigger diameter than the product description of 3" - it's about 7".) I haven't used the magnifier yet but it's fun to look through, very clear and detailed. The pattern holder is so secure I think it would even hold a tablet, if you could find a way to protect the tablet from the teeth. $120 is a lot for accessories but they feel substantial and really well-made so I do not feel ripped off. This is the perfect little stitching set up. I'm glad I made the investment.

I have had this for a while now and it is so great! I had been eyeing this stand for a long time but was worried because of the price. I have been getting wrist pain holding up my cross stitch frames (scroll frames and some q snaps) and have tried many other stands and was always disappointed! With lots of screws that can strip and so many minor adjustments to make they are always a headache. This one is so great. Just open up the jaw and place your frame inside, then tighten. You can adjust the angle, flip it to look at the back of your piece, and adjust the height all without moving from your chair! It slides under my couch and appears sturdy, yet is lightweight. I have been using it currently with an 11” q snap and a clip on magnifier and light. The magnifier is supposed to clip to edge of desks, but holds onto the back of the frame easily, and I shove my scissors into one of the holes where you are supposed to be able to put a light or a stand for a pattern holder. It works great! This is by far my favorite frame so far and totally worth the price tag!

This stand shipped perfectly. It’s better quality than what the pictures show. If you’re into embroidery or cross stitch this is a much have. I received a brushed gold colour and I was pleasantly suprised. It’s a pretty stand and it’s solid. I fitted a 14x18inch frame on and it’s perfect. Will be saving up for the attachments.

I bought this with the LED light magnifier and pattern holder attachments. Use it all the time to do intricate embroidery, trim my nails, thread needles, and anything I need to see closely with hands free to work. Love it. Easy to assemble.

I love this stand! I've been using it for two days and it's making my life a lot easier. I can stitch with both hands now and my arthritis isn't flaring up, due to holding a frame. It's unfortunate that the clamp is at a fixed distance - that this cannot be extended. The stand would be a lot more useful, if it had that adjustment available. Or, if there was some sort of arm that could be used, to accomplish the same task. When using a small frame in the clamp, it's not going to be as easy for me to use, because I won't be able to get it as close to my body. But, for now, with a 20-inch scroll frame in there, it is working out great. I just have to support the end of the frame with something, or it will droop down. This could be because my hands won't let me tighten the screw enough, or it could be by design - not sure which. But, regardless, I'm really loving this stand! I also purchased the accessory package that has the lighted magnifier and chart holder. I love that too and will write a separate review for those.

I love this product! Bought it to use for a recently begun hobby of needlework (crewel, cross stitch, embroidery). It is great for holding either a hoop or for a scroll frame. I love the ease of adjusting height, angle, and for flipping over to the back side of your project. It is lightweight and easily portable to take wherever you are working. The holder does loosen up and needs retightening periodically; I attribute this to my frequent use of flipping it over and adjusting to my working needs. I wish I had bought the light and chart holder attachment when I bought the stand. Plan to order these to go with my Stitch Smart stand. I highly recommend this product. (I had previously ordered a cheap lap stand which was worthless and had to return it, this was worth the extra cost!)

Received my stand within 10 days from order via DHL. It was easy to set up and feels very sturdy due to its wide base design. It is also quite lightweight making it easy to move from room to room.
