26 year old gelding feeling much better
My Morgan horse is pushing 26 and has fused high ringbone and some arthritis. He's still got an excellent pep to his step and we do easy rides on trail. He's on the lowest dose of generic eqioxx about 6x weekly. I supplement farriers formula, Source green powder, electrolytes, camelina oil, and just a tad of buteless pellets a day. I noticed him getting a lot more stiff now that it's a bit colder, and also he's always taken about 15 full minutes to totally warm up every when it's not cold. I started him on product about a month ago and I probably started noticing a different in two weeks. He moves more freely and is lighter on his feet and just in general in a much better mood! I will likely stop the buteless as any effect it's having is minimal at best. I will say he's not a picky eater at all. I later the powder between his supplements and put camelina on top and he eats at. At first he was a little hesitant but now he eats it. Takes his time lol but it's worth a shot.... I guess you could syringe the power of your horse tolerates that. Worse comes to worse another person at your barn can but it off you but I really think it's worth a shot!

Wonderful result with Cosequin ASU
I have a rescue mare in her 20's. She was very sore when she came to me and then became even worse when she developed Cushings and foundered. I was giving her two grams of butte daily plus a vet recommended supplement for joint pain and other arthritis issues. She was not responding to the butte and supplement in a satisfactory way. She continued to get more sore and her walking was becoming so difficult for her I was nearing the decision to put her down and relieve her suffering. A friend who is a highly regarded professional trainer convinced me to try Cosequin. After reading up on Cosequin I chose the ASU version to try. Within four weeks there was noticeable improvement in her movement and by six weeks she was a different horse. While she still has some soreness, she moves all over her pasture including up and down hills with ease. Any thought of putting her down is long gone. She's happy and even jogs to her grain on occasion. I have reduced her butte to one gram a day for the last four weeks and am about to eliminating it to see if she can do without it - I believe she'll do fine on the Cosequin ASU by itself based on her far better than expected response to the product. I am thrilled for this old mare. I highly recommend giving Cosequin products a try. They may not work as well on every horse, but by all means worth a try.

Really works
I got this for my 20 year old pony that suddenly developed like wind puffs on her fetlocks and hocks. Since she wasn't being ridden I couldn't figure out what would cause the fluid build up. So decided to try this and what a miracle. The fluid was gone in a week and hasn't come back. I like that it's a easy to eat pellet instead of a powder and she eats it with no problem. It's helped her mobility and the the cost per feeding isn't bad at all. There is definitely no waste to it. I'm totally happy with it. Cosequin has been around for a long time so you can trust their quality.

vet recommended
My horse vet recommends this product. I've used both the grains and pelleted version, but have now been using the pellets for years on the assumption that they are more likely to get ingested. I have no idea whether they are effective, since my present horse has always been on this product since I purchased him. But I'm not about to quit! I'll trust my vet on this one.
