Introduction to Probability and Statistics

Worst Statistics book ever!
If I could give 0 stars, I would. This book does not give clear explanations, formulas, or example problems. It barely introduces a concept and then moves on to advanced concepts in the problems for the sections without equipping the student on how to approach the problems. The online software that accompanies it is just as bad. Without knowing the steps of how to get to an answer of 0.02 for example, what good is giving the answer! This book is an example of everything that is wrong with our current textbook trend of allowing the student to 'discover their own way' of how to solve a problem. This implementation is horrible and it is not worth 1 penny! The fact that my daughter had to pay for this book and software is ridiculous. She should be compensated for the time that it has taken her to look up other resources to be able to answer the questions in her homework and teach herself statistics. Absolutely the worst book I have ever seen in mathematics/statistics in over 20 years of educating!
