Quarantine Project: Backyard Shed!
Took a chance on this kit, I was a little wary of ordering a shed from Amazon. The kit arrived, about 800 pounds and flat packed on a pallet. We inventoried pieces, a few of the exterior wall panels had dings from shipping (repaired before painting) but most was in very good repair. The pallet everything was packed on broke in half during shipping, so this may have been the cause of the dings.However, the directions were comprehensive. We used gravel packed into plastic forms (also purchased on Amazon) for the foundation. My father and brother-in-law latched onto this project during the quarantine and assembled this for us in two afternoons (both have construction experience) so I think this would have taken my wife and I a few days (not much construction experience) which was the original plan. Very pleased with the size of the shed and the quality, as it is quite sturdy. The hardware seems to be good quality and there were plenty of fasteners included. You need 2+ people when putting up the walls but otherwise generally a 1-2 person job. This is a cute, small sized shed but perfect for two avid gardeners on a small lot. Would recommend this product for the adventurous DIY-er (or anyone with handy relatives)!
