Really liked the series. It’s like old tv series combat except on the Russian front.And it also hilights the Polish efforts in the later years of the war.

I thought the series was well put together. If a person get their head around that it was a black and white series '66-'71, the special effects were from that time period, English translations were at times limited, I think a person can really appreciate the series. It was really great to watch the tanks in operation, and not just the one tank. The uniforms, tanks, equipment was interesting. A good series for sure.

This DVD set is absolutely horrible. I bought it for nostalgic reasons (I grew up watching this series) but it is a huge disappointment. Number one: it is not playable as a normal DVD. I eventually found out how to play it - one has to navigate to TS Video folder and select each VOB file separately. And it is a guessing game which VOB file to chose. I am guessing by the size of the file.... Number 2 : audio quality is horrible. Both on Bluetooth and on wired headphones.I may be unfair to the sellers, but it looks to me like a very poorly made amateur rip.
