Fishers Finery 30mm 100% Pure Mulberry Silk Pillowcase 2 Pack, Good Housekeeping Quality Tested (Taupe, Standard, 2 Pack)

This is the third 30 momme silk pillow case I have purchased from Fishers Finery. The first two were very nice and beautifully made. All come well packaged in a sturdy gift box. This latest pillow case is nice enough, however, I notice the inside seams are now serged instead of the nicer French seams, which would of course be more material and labor. Also the label says 30 momme but I think it seems a bit lighter weight fabric. Even so it is a nice product and I would probably buy it again. I am sorry to see companies cut corners when they had a product that was 5 stars.

I'm saddened I purchased this as it isn't worth the money. I've now purchased a few yards of silk and the seamstress at my local dry-cleaning has sewn 2 wonderful, silky 30mns pillowcases for less than the price offered here. Live and learn.

I’m going to start by saying I’ve never felt or owned mulberry silk before, so maybe I am just ignorant to it. But this pillowcase just doesn’t feel.. silky? I expected the higher count to be higher quality so I bought the 30mm. When I took it out of the box I could tell immediately that the texture looked and felt off, which I have attached a photo of. It almost looks pilled. I figured maybe I had to wash it first, but it still looks and feels the same. Looking at other reviews, I noticed I also have a different label compared to others which is confusing to me as well. As I’ve washed it I can’t return it so I am going to try it out anyway, but for over $50 for a single pillowcase I am disappointed. Like I said, maybe I have different expectations for what mulberry silk is supposed to feel like but it feels more like polyester to me. On a positive note I received my package extremely quick, probably within two days, which I appreciated. If this is what the pillowcase is supposed to look and feel like then I apologize, but as of right now I will not repurchase or recommend.

I'm head over heels for these. I came back for more. So luxurious. My boyfriend is hooked on silk pillow cases now, too.I sat next to a linen specialist on a plane and learned something new about how to treat these. She said, use a washable cotton case under the washable silk case. So if you're ordering this, I recommend ordering another layer if this is news to you, too.I recommend goose (or mostly goose, some feather) down or wool-filled pillows for comfort, though buckwheat and other grains are increasingly interesting options that I think are worth a go, too! I use goose and my boyfriend uses buckwheat.

I love this brand and have slept on silk pillows for many years 30+ for wrinkle prevention. I’ve purchased their 19, 25 and 30 momme cases. The 30 makes a wonderful wedding gift due to the high silk thread count and beautiful packaging, but colors are limited. If it’s too pricey for you, stick with the 25 momme. 19 momme is too delicate IMO and won’t hold up as well. I always hand wash and air dry my cases and they last a long time. I stick with the 25 and 30 momme cases and prefer this brand over others that I’ve tried. So does it prevent wrinkles? I always protect myself from the sun with high quality sunblock and big hats; sleep 8 hours a night; get regular facials and peels; include avocado oil, collagen and ground flaxseed in my daily green smoothies; exercise regularly (hot yoga, hot pilates, hot barre, and hot bootcamp; AND sleep every night with my silk pillowcase. My silk pillow is another tool in my fountain of youth kit and I also just like the soft feel of silk on my skin. So far no wrinkles and I’m 50+ years old.

Followed cold water wash and delicate tumble dry setting, and pillowcase shrink 3 inches. Won’t fit my standard pillows now!

I caught the bug for a silk pillowcase to treat dry skin and hair. It was Christmas and my color choices were limited but ok, I got the grey. The feel is delightful, truly. I washed it and it still feels so smooth against my cheek. The thickness is pretty good. I was afraid it would be thin but it has a nice weight. I would have given it five stars but it doesn't fully close around the pillow. As you can probably see, this is a "My Pillow" in a standard size. They are not larger than normal. Yet the envelope closure doesn't quite get the job done. The price was very good though compared with some I viewed on other sites. Despite the closure, I'm considering getting a second.

I already had silk pillowcases, they are 25MM, but I decided to try these and see if I noticed a difference and WOW you can really feel the quality of these pillowcases. Highly recommend! Just FYI I wash them on the delicate cycle in a laundry bag and then air dry them. Afterwords I put them in the dryer on low heat for a few minutes and that eliminates any wrinkles. This pillow case is heavenly.

I decided to get a silk pillow case because my hair has been quite dry lately. This pillow case is better than I could have imagined. The quality is amazing and it’s not slippery at all. After about a month of use, my hair is noticeably less dry and more manageable. I would definitely recommend this pillow case to anyone thinking of getting a silk pillow case. It’s well worth the money

Recently I noticed that my hair was starting to break so a silk pillowcase was suggested.This pillow case exceeded my expectations so much so that I purchased another 3 for Christmas!

Loved it! Had such a wonderful sleep on the pillow case! Beautiful quality, the packaging was gorgeous, it feels as though it is incredibly high quality and I woke up with no lines/pillow creases on my face! The only reason I added four stars were value was because it was a bit pricey, but I am extremely happy with my purchase!

I bought three pillowcases from 30 mm silk. The quality is amazing.the colours - white (which is actually a very beautiful pearl colour), silver (which is gray), and light blue - are very beautiful and deep. the silk is very pleasant for touch and comfortable for sleep. I don't want to sleep on cotton pillowcases anymore)if they make a beautiful pink colour for 30 mm pillowcase, I will buy it.

It's quite beautiful and I'm very satisfied with the quality and (blue) color. I wash it by hand in lukewarm water. Then I put it in the dryer with a couple of dry towels, on low heat. I check it periodically, while it's in the dryer, to make sure it is loose so it won't wrinkle.
