I purchased this blanket for me. (I’m a 44 year old mom of two adult young men.) I love my weighted blanket (15 lbs) but it’s too big and bulky and heavy for relaxing and maneuvering on the couch and I wanted something a little smaller just to cover my legs so I bought this blanket. The little bit of weight on it keeps it laying nice on me. Clearly it’s not my weight class, so it’s almost too light (I’m about 130 lbs), but I can see this being perfect for a toddler or small young child. The material is not very soft in my opinion, it reminds me of the cotton quilting fabric I buy at the craft store that needs to be pre-washed. I was disappointed to see the washing instructions, but honestly I took a chance today and threw mine into the washing machine anyway on “delicate” and then the dryer on “delicate, low heat.” I used regular laundry soap and a dryer sheet. It washed and dried perfectly, it’s definitely a bit softer now and feels much cozier. Overall I’m happy with the blanket, and the pattern and colors are cute, too. (There are some sewn in hooks I’m not sure what they are for, maybe for a tiny duvet cover?)

I have a three year old with night terrors, sleep walking, and scared of the dark. We both have gotten better sleep because of this blanket. I could have cried last night because instead of crying, she was laughing in her sleep last night. When we got it delivered I told her in was an armor blanket that would protect her from bad dreams. It obviously works. It’s comfortable for her, breathable, the weight is evenly distributed over the whole thing, and it’s like a warm hug. It helps her sleep through the night. I’m so so happy I bought this and I’ll definitely be recommending it to my sisters!

Awesome material, perfect weight for my 2 year old. We had such hard time getting her calm at night and this helped so much. The size is perfectly fitting over her entire body and shes a bit taller for her age. The unicorn design is adorable amd material is washable

I purchased this for my 3 year old who is a bit of a sleep nightmare and often spends over an hour tossing and turning around before finally drifting off to sleep. The blanket has been a useful tool in our warchest of toddler sleep time tools and has helped keep him asleep once we get him there.The blanket itself is evenly weighted, comfortable, and well-made. The blanket is not overly thick or hot and is made like a quilt with durable stitching and materials. I was happy with the value and utility of the blanket as well as its cute design.

I got this 5 lb weighted blanket for my 6 year old. Her brother and sister had one and so she wanted one. She gets hot easily so I got this one since it talks about breathability. Thankfully she said she LOVES it and has not gotten hot. She loves the unicorn pattern and it isn't too short for her! She is a happy 6 year old

Super cute patter we got the unicorn one to match with daughters room! we noticed she had trouble sleeping and this helped! It’s super soft and the weight is just right for her since she’s 7 ! Def would recommend!

I bought this for my 3 year old, about 32 pounds. She sleeps in a crib size toddler bed. I lay this sideways so it doesn't slide off and tuck one end under the mattress. Works great! Love the cotton, she is a sweaty sleeper and hasn't sweated yet with this. We bought one locally from Target and it was fleece with a waterproof cover. She cooked with it, plus it was puffy and not easy to tuck in. I like this one MUCH better, plus half the price. If your kid has a hard time settling down for sleep, I definitely recommend!! Also, Unicorn colors are prettier in person than on the screen.

My son is 5 and has a hard time sleeping…as well as some sensory issues…due to adhd and autism. He was really having a difficult time at school during nap time and I wanted to finally give a weighted blanket a try. I chose this one, because it had good reviews and was very reasonably priced. Being that it was going to be used at school especially, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. The reviews were all right and it helped my son with sleeping so much at school, he wanted to get one to have at home. The blanket is soft and I’ve had to wash it quite a few times as well…and as long as you wash it on delicate using only detergent (air dry)…it washes beautifully. Highly recommend!!
