Book on cooking, crafts, housekeeping
This book is a combination of household hints, cooking and recipes, and crafts. It is very interesting but not as good as her other books. Still, worth buying as you may find hints on decorating and such.

Lots of ideas
It's A fast book to flip through. Tons of ideas. Even though most didn't appeal to me, I still wound up with a good twenty or so ideas I'm eager to try.

Very Informative and I purchased another to give.
I saw the book advertised in MS Living magazine and purchased one for myself and another for a friend. I spent an entire day reading each page to make notes for my friend. It was very enjoyable taking notes and marking multiple pages. I have Martha’s first Good Things Book so YES I am a fan. The book is a nice size and well made. No jacket. My friend was overjoyed with the gift.

Most “Very Good Things” Waste Time
I have never been a Martha Stewart devotee, but this book intrigued me. I’m glad I purchased a used copy. Most of the suggestions are DIY time-wasters in my opinion. They are for people who find projects for the purpose of finding projects. If that’s one of your hobbies, you’ll enjoy this book. For my lifestyle and interests, I prefer time-savers.Also, Martha includes tons, no exaggeration, of ideas that are about hanging and organizing your everyday possessions on your walls. I think this design technique looks messy, is distracting to the mind, and guarantees you’ll spend an inordinate amount of time dusting. No thanks.I gleaned two things from this book. First, I put all of my dish and hand soaps in decorative plastic containers. I love the neatness of the look, and it impresses visitors. Second, I was inspired to finally organize my pots and pans.Other than that, the book is somewhat interesting, and the photography is very well done. The kitchen and laundry sections were my favorite and held my attention the most.

Great & So Helpful As Always!
I'm a long time Martha fan, and have many of her books. This one is great as usual, and includes so many helpful tips and techniques for all kinds of things, and even recipes. Many of them are older previous issues of her magazine, and it's nice to have all this info arranged and one place. Love it !
