It is constructed of metal and plastic, excellent finish, has several outlets to feed various equipment or accessories. Of course there are better ones, but its price makes it perfect for those who want to venture into this medium, do not have the necessary resources and do not want to waste their money on poor quality products.

Best V mount plate i’ve owned, works how it should with no problems, incredibly sturdy.

This works well so far. I use it in a "flat" orientation (the way it arrives), rather than letting it hang off the back of my rig behind my shoulder vertically.It seems it is possible to use it in this "vertical" configuration according to another review...just by switching a couple screws, but my particular copy is actually mis-machined so the screw holes are like a millimeter too close together to actually be re-oriented. It's not a huge problem for me.

Tilta always makes quality gear. This is no exception. Feels solid and keeps my pocket 4K running all day with a couple of v-mount batteries.

Strong, solid unit. No complaints here. Could there be more ports? Sure, but there are a ton already.

I wanted this in my system, but it’s very stupid on Tilta’s part, IMO, to prevent you converting it to a 90 degree orientation to the rails. The rail mount piece is removable, the holes are there, but they put a chunk of aluminum where you could obviously have relocated the mount. Other people have ground that chunk of metal away, but I refuse to do that. I went with a Juicebox unit that works well.

Sad that I can't mount this vertical at all. I even shaved down the nub that sits on the bottom of the 15mm rod mounting bracket which prevent a vertical mount...but the screw holes located on the top side of the battery plate were machined just slightly off where the screws misaligned by a mm or so making it impossible even after modifying it. Really disappointing. Otherwise this would be a great piece of gear.

It works like it should. Doesn’t feel cheap.
